I very much doubt it. Launching a war with Iran would split Obama’s base worse than Vietnam did Lyndon Johnson’s. And Obama wouldn’t pick up support from Republicans to compensate—Republican voters detest Obama even more than LBJ.

I heard some griping on Fox News today. Apparently the Obamas are going to be in NYC for something at the same time as the Christmas Tree Lighting and streets and traffic will be blocked off.
