I just watched a great movie this week from 1950, “The Next Voice You Hear”, about the voice of God broadcasting over worldwide radio. Maybe the only thing that will get us back to a moral world would be God speaking over the TV.

I’m sorry. I can only hope they see the light before it’s too late. There’s nothing worse than family/loved ones becoming antagonists politically, socially or in any way.

Don’t let that discourage you. I just speak my mind on the issue(s) at hand, then distance myself to let it cool. Even the Bible says family won’t always be an ally: “They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:53

I didn’t get discouraged, although I was definitely upset, but it was 9 years ago. I just decided to fight harder, in my own little way.

BTW, Strategerist - you haven’t told me whether you think male on male sodomy and animal sodomy should be legalized in the military yet. I’m not going to give up asking you, so please enlighten me on your august viewpoint.

Yes. There are plenty of ways to fight these battles. I’m constantly reminding my friends and family why the queer agenda will affect them, and why it must be stopped.

I just closed my PayPal account a while ago when I heard of them caving in to the queers. And I made sure I told them exactly why.

Strategerist makes a valid point. The UCMJ does indeed make heterosexual oral sex illegal for service members. As a minimum, oral sex between husband and wife shouldn't be criminal.

On the other hand, we all know the senators did this in order to approve of homosexual acts, too. They could have removed just the sodomy provision for heterosexuals, but they went further for a reason. This is all part of the DADT repeal deal. They want to make the perverse acceptable if not normal.

We also know where this ultimately leads. Have a spiritual, natural law, or medical/scientific reason for opposing homosexual sex? Better think twice before you express that opinion, because our political betters think homosexuality is a civil rights issue. That, of course, legitimizes using the full weight of federal power to force people to accept and approve of homosexuality, just like they did to stop racial discrimination.

His point is not valid, because the entire repeal is to advance the homosexual agenda and I guess the bestiality agenda (?), and if they wanted to de-criminalize opposite sex sodomy they could have tried to do that any time they wanted to.

Not speaking up is why we are in the abyss right now. We better start speaking up soon, and loudly.

At this point the people in positions of public power and responsibility seem to be about 95% of them without a moral compass, courage, or both.

Unfortunately, true. It’s going to take what-shall-not-be-spoken-of to undo all this. Of course, it didn’t have to be this way.

Conservatives(not liberaltarians)have been fighting and warning about the moral/social decay for decades now, to little effect.

I’m dense and my tooth’s still in pain.

What is it that shall not be spoken of? Hmm... does it have a “C” and a “W”?

Have we spent so much time in the Middle East that camels are starting to look good to the troops?

The repeal of these restrictions will only open up a can... uh... open a can... uh... never mind.

I realize it is biased of me, but I tend to think of “sodomy” as a homosexual act. Heterosexual couples have other options. I do think that repealing this section of code is directly related to allowing homosexuals to serve openly.

Moral corruption ALWAYS leads to political subversion! An immoral nation devoid of God cannot maintain it’s social integrity.

According to the UCMJ, receiving or giving oral sex with a member of the opposite sex is the crime of “sodomy”.

How many military members do you think have broken the law in regards to that specific provision?

I know that back when I served I did as often as reasonably possible.

;)

I’m so glad I got out. Another protected species in our armed forces, where diversity is a strategic imperative. Know who gets hurt the worst from DADT repeal? Females. There aren’t that many gay guys in the service, but a good chunk of the females are lesbians. I know it affects straight females to some degree now. It’s only going to get worse when the lesies are a protected “minority”.

If the Republican majority House of Representatives passes this disgusting decriminalization of sodomy with humans and animals, the Capitol Building deserves to be burned to the ground.

While I don't always agree with all your posts, you've certainly got something there.

Will child rape be next ? What perversion is too loathsome to be illegal ? Looks like NONE. That a US legislatibe body could pass this is appalling. I thought we sent a message in 2010 ? It seems the folks in Washington are TOTALLY deaf,
