House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) on Thursday described America’s Roman Catholic bishops as “lobbyists in Washington, D.C.” in their efforts to persuade the Department of Health and Human Service to rescind a proposed regulation under the new health-care law that would force Catholics to act against the teachings of their church by compelling them to purchase health-care plans that cover sterilizations and all-FDA approved contraceptives, including abortifacients. The proposed regulation, scheduled to take effect on Aug. 1, 2012, would require every health-insurance plan in the United States to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives

When are these Bishops going to stand up to this woman? Are they in authority over her or not?
Since when did this POS become a Catholic Moral Authority? She does not speak for me that’s for sure. The Church becomes weaker when they don’t stand up and speak out against these morally bankrupt politicians. Makes me sick.
Pelosi is coming close to hate-speech. She certainly does not represent the people, or even her party. She seems to represent the opposite of American traditional values. She seems to speak for an athiestic progressive faction. Anybody agree? Who elected this hate-filled partisan?
I suggest Nancy enjoy her ill-gotten-gains quickly while here on earth.
