Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain will decide "before Monday" on whether to quit the race for the White House as claims of a 13-year affair threatened to end a campaign dogged by sex scandals.
Cain, once the front-runner to take on President Barack Obama in November 2012 elections, has denied wrongdoing, saying he was only friends with his latest accuser, Ginger White, who says they had a sexual relationship.
"Before Monday we'll make a decision," Cain said in an interview on Fox News late Thursday, admitting that a flurry of allegations of misconduct had sent his presidential bid "off message."
"It's not fair to my family, it's not fair to my supporters, it's not fair to this campaign, it's every week, now three out of four weeks... we've been hit with another one of these accusations," he said.
"The decision could be we're going to continue with this campaign, full speed ahead. The decision could be we're going to suspend the campaign.

Was that Washington, D.C. circa 1952?
Cain is done. Blowing money on this ugly old whore monthly without telling your wife is about as bad as it gets, impression wise. He pretty much telegraphed his demise when he kept telling interviewers about talking with his family. That is always a sign that someone is exiting stage right.
That train-wreck is racist.
Why was he sending money unbeknownst to his wife?
Paris 1895.
Rush, today, quoted someone else saying about the Cain train as “plenty of steam on the windows, but none in the engine.” Gloria has likely enjoyed of this she cares to, by now. I am sorry for her embarrassment.
Quite unbeknownst to his wife. Sadly.
These are Cains words.
Yes, I hope it wasn’t an affair because his wife seems very nice and this must be awful for her.
I also noted tonight on Hannity’s show that Cain parsed things by saying that he was Innocent of “many “ of these charges.
When a man spends money on another woman and doesn't tell his wife, that usually means....
Occam's Razor
I agree that it’s fishy as hell that his wife wasnt told he was helping this woman financially.
You are being ugly and dishonest. You don't know how much money was involved, you don't know that he gave her money every month, and you have no business calling other people "whores".
Some people don't believe this is true. Can someone point me to the link please?
Mr Cain has a problem.
He is trying to prove that he is a loving pastoral type while neglecting his wife.
Of course, getting some on the side is not what this election is about.
This election is about the economy.
In what way has Mr. Cain neglected his wife?
OMG! Is she saying that now?
Even if Cain was doing this strictly to help her out, which is very slim, it lends credence to the other allegations to GOP base voters that can’t be overcome. He may be able to keep going if he had a D after his name. Clinton slid by with far more stuff. Rats love this garbage, but not the GOP Base.
Being a married American male, there is only one reason to pick the tab up on a woman like this and not tell your wife.
Drudge has the interview quote. Here is the link to the paper that did the interview.

Um .. he spent money on this gal by his own admission, but he hid it from his wife.
bingo
Another Perrymour slavishly doing his bidding.
Yeah put a fork in him he is done. Now I’m depressed because we’ll either get a RINO elitist or Obama again. Oh well, it was a good country while it lasted.
Deeeep hole to extract from.
For many of us, he was the default Tea Party candidate when SP unannounced.
We will now “reassess” our advocacy.
Too much drama... somethings up...
I asked “did his wife know?” The other day
now we know the answer
What I cannot believe is how he can continue the story that no affair happened.
If he didnt get sex out of this deal he was a total fool to get into it, and looks even worse in my book.
Helping a mean nasty woman such as this monetarily without proof of what transpired is not a very smart or conservative thing to do.
You dont do anything these days without thinking of potential trouble that could arise.....and that includes giving women money.
Cain is the one under the microscope.
Not me.
Cain try to explains this **** away, but he admits that he was paying a woman that his wife did not know , with Their funds.
How does that look?
Tonight he tried to deflect it by saying he had done the same for male friends.
Are you buying this shuck and jive samantha?
I just don’t see this as neglecting his wife.
He’s the one earning the money. Lots of it apparently.
Maybe the amounts involved are such that they have no effect on what money is available to the wife for her spending.
You say he “hid” but you don’t know that this is true. There are plenty of things that I don’t tell other people, but I am not “hiding” these things. They just aren’t those other people’s business.
You are pretending to know things that you do not know.
He hosed his wife.
Do they have a prenup?
Bitch slapping the media does not make you qualified for Presidency or Ann Coulter and Brent Bozelle would qualify.
It has only been as good as it has because others had far more starch in their shorts than you apparently do.
You are being ignorant.
You are posting stupid, ugly things.
This is known as "trolling".
How would you feel if you found out the wife was paying some guy without your knowledge?
And Cain calls himself a Pastor.
I am posting what the man admitted to.
One minute you know exactly what's going on. The next minute you're asking questions.
Are you perhaps a profoundly dishonest person?
Especially since he was involved in a sexual harassment suit back in the day. He can't claim he didn't know this could lead to dangerous exposure for him by being a good Sam. I get the impression that his old lady is sending him around to try and clean up his rep before bailing on the campaign. Trying to give a plausible explanation that he can fall back on in the future. It might have been a condition to be allowed to move back home.
To continue in the race, he has to convincingly maintain his innocence to his wife, his contributers, and the public. Seems very unlikely, unless he really is innocent.
How so?
I am not in the public eye.
Herman Cain is.
This is his bailywick, not mine.
Cain admitted that he "hosed" his wife?
I don't think so, liar.
I will bet you wish there had never been a Civil War. You really sound hateful, not just slavish to Perry, usually that is for a really bad reason. Carrying on your personal vendetta against a decent man.
Wait until the truth is told about your candidate. The Soros Group and Rats already do.
