Herman Cain has a critical summit meeting Friday with a house leader. His house.
Cain is decamping back to Georgia for a sit-down with wife Gloria over the subject of Ginger White, the Atlanta woman who claims she was Cain’s mistress for over a decade, and he said the two will discuss the future of his struggling presidential campaign.
Cain is slated to open his national campaign headquarters in Atlanta on Saturday and, at least as of now, is expected to go through with it. But the lease had better be month-to-month.
White, appearing on MSNBC Thursday night, apologized to Gloria Cain and Cain’s children. (Watch video below.)
"I am not a cold-hearted person. I am a mother of two kids. And of course my heart bleeds for this woman because I am a woman and being in a situation like this cannot be fun," she said. "And I am deeply, deeply sorry if I have caused any hurt to her and to his kids, to his family. That was not my intention. I never wanted to hurt anyone and I'm deeply sorry. I am very sorry.”

If you watched the entire video you would know the reason she came forward was because the media told her they were ready to reveal all.

The nation is fading fast. Logically this crap isn’t even relevant if someone is capable of leading this nation out of the Obama-hell it is in. Character matters I know but I have such serious concerns for the future of this nation that we can’t let the MSM pick our candidate again.

The only route to the nomination for Cain goes through P.I.s finding proof positive that one or more of the accusations is flat false (meaning in the case of the settled sexual harassment claims that the "harassment" was something only shrill feminist harpies would regard as harassment) and finding a money trail that implicates the campaign of an opponent or a well-healed supporter of an opponent (whether Obama or another GOP contender).
Were that to happen, Cain would be back, probably with better numbers than before.
The trouble is, given the international situation (the Euro-crisis, Syria, Iran, the Islamist winter that's coming around after the Arab spring), however much we like him on domestic issues, it's not clear to me that Cain should get the nomination. Quite frankly his failure in having formulated foreign policy positions before the campaign or to be quick study on foreign policy once it became clear it was his weak suit during the campaign, hurt him more in my estimation than any of the accusations regarding his relations with women would, even were they proven beyond a shadow of a doubt before a jury of his peers.
Come out and admit an affair and then publically “apologize” to the wife and kids. How scummy and evil...
This woman deserves anything that comes to her.
