Conservative pundits have been lining up to voice their frustration over the possibility that former Speak of the House Newt Gingrich could wind up being the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. And you can add Washington Post columnist George Will to that list.
On Fridays The Laura Ingraham Show, Will responded to Gingrichs recent remarks that being the smartest isnt enough, but instead to be the wisest.
Mr. Gingrich said its not enough that he is the smartest guy in the room, he also has to be wise, Will said. Now you can associate many things with Mr. Gingrich, but wisdom isnt one of them. Surely the Republican nominating electorate should understand the fact that people have patterns. Dont expect the patterns to go away. Expect the patterns to manifest themselves again. If Newt Gingrich has any pattern at all, and he does it is a pattern of getting himself into trouble because he thinks he is the smartest guy in the room.

I think George Will and Karl Rove are lovers.
But I am still confused why so many so called “Conservatives” are on the bandwagon with the media to destroy our most talented and experienced candidates who can beat Obama.
LOL. I say much, much, worse about Will, IMO he is a puke RINO.
George Will.....he’s very erudite, you know. In a pompous, punctilious sort of way.
Then if Mitt is nominated, the LSM will draw and quarter him 24/7 ad nauseam.
Msm, serial destroyers.
The hit jobs they put on Cain are brutal, but since Herman had this White woman as a 13 year friend, that his wife didn't know about, I'm glad it came out now instead of Herman getting the nomination and then getting blindsided by his financially strapped friend, that he has been giving money to {without his wife knowledge}.
That's the killer point, Gloria didn't know this woman was on the planet, and there is no explaining that little oversight.
I don't know if Herman can sell that line to his wife, but as an ex-Hermanator, I ain't buying it.
I bought the first group as being hit jobs, but giving money secretly to some woman, who was "just a friend in need" for 13 years...NFW.
It may even be true, and Herman can be a Saint, but it ain't sale-able. It is over for Cain as a candidate for President, he better try and maintain the home front.
I missed it, when did George Will run to show us all how it is done?
You anti-newt types are certainly aligning yourselves with some odd bed-pals. Next you’ll be agreeing with obumber.
“because he thinks he is the smartest guy in the room”
Because HE IS the smartest guy in the room!
George Will’s wife works for Perry. He should have said that.

Not according to himself: http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/will103011.php3
He’s right about Newt too. Newt as nominee will be very depressing indeed.
That's a pretty intense slam on both Obama and Mittens.
I didn't know about and I like it. Thanks for posting.
Regards,
TS
But if he takes a shot at Gingrich, watch them discover a strange new respect for him.
Right, I saw that 'global warming is real' video he did with the smartest woman in the room: Pelosi. Two smart cookies LOL
