Some hold differences with the translation, but that’s what it says.

"Abusers of themselves with mankind" is a circumlocution for what is one word in the Greek: arsenokoitai
. It is a rare word--Liddell & Scott cite only the passage in I Cor. and the Palatine Anthology (9.686)--there is it rendered "sodomite." The Intermediate Liddell-Scott Lexicon has "lying with men." The first element means "male" and koite
means "bed," "marriage-bed," or "lasciviousness."
An earlier English translation of the Bible had "bugger" instead of the KJV's circumlocution.
