Herman Cain Announcement LIVE THREAD (Video Feed Link) [Suspending!]
HermanCain.com ^ | 12-03-2011

Posted on 12/03/2011 8:18:19 AM PST by montag813

Herman Cain is expected to make a "major announcement" today, anytime between 11am and 1pm EST in Atlanta. The media is assuming he will quit the race. Politico is positively glowing with anticipation of this. Will he fold, or FIGHT? He is also opening a new Atlanta HQ. Twitter reports that people are jamming in early to show their support.

We simply don't know what will happen, or when it will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think he should quit? Or do you think Cain should stay in the race and deny the State-Run Media yet another GOP scalp on a platter - for unproven allegations -while they allow a vile rapist like Clinton, or commie cokehead like Obama breeze through unscathed?

HERE IS THE LIVE VIDEO FEED LINK: http://hermancain.com/livestream

Ok so to "be ready" to be President in the GOP Party bots minds means being part of the same corrupt failed political establishment that has brought this nation to the edge of complete fiscal ruin. Rather then bother to think about things and question the Political Establishment "Wisdom" they mindlessly parrot the same dogmas election after election.

And then conservatives wonder why nothing ever changes in DC.

Unless he drops out, endorses Gingrich, and turns his organization over to him along with the cash he has (not sure if this is legal).

I don’t think (at least I hope) he is not quitting. Setting up new organizational offices tells me he’s either in or endorsing another candidate.

I saw a Freeper’s “dream” last night that Cain could have set all this up as a trap for the MSM.....having this woman come out and say these things....and playing it out....and then come out today, and EXPOSE the media....such a great dream!

I think he should suspend the campaign and spend the next 2 weeks going after his accusers AND the press....assuming, of course, that he is innocent, which I am beginning to doubt.

It would be tragic if Rev. Cain dropped out, not just for him, but for this nation as a whole. Look at the candidates who would remain. None of them have the leadership qualities we so desperately need. We will be royally screwed. Might as well re-elect Obama.

For me, what is important now more than Cain getting the nomination and being president is Cain taking on and defeating the liberal media that gave us Obama with tactics like this.

Cain could serve this country far better and far longer if he is able to somehow use this situation to drive a wooden stake through the heart of the media establishment which has sucked the life blood out of our political process.

There should be consequences for bearing false witness, and the press should not get a pass for their part in it.

“Lol HBO...10 channels of absolutely nothing!”

When we used DISH, I would get emails and phone calls offering us HBO for $X/month.

My answer was “Why would I pay for HBO when we never used their HBO free for a week or weekend.

How about this post on the link that I posted:

carolynedgar : Told y'all. @WatchJ : MSNBC says there may be a Herman Cain sex tape...I guess God really didn't want me to have breakfast this morning

Good one. And how about a Love Child too?

Well I will say this... Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian had sex tapes, and they are multi-gazillionaires now, and world-famous. So I say "Bring on the Cain sex tape!!"

He’s either going to announce that he’ll quit the race or he’ll announce that he’s decided to get rid of HBO to save $10 a month on his cable

Keep your day job, you ain't no comedian that's for damn sure.

Bachmann and Perry ought to pack it in as well. Actually, I suspect the reason they are still in is simply that they think they might get the nod for VP if they can make a dent in the polls. Right now, they are probably hoping they’ll pick up some of Herman’s support. That seems like a pipe dream to me.

I think it’s really going to be a two man race, maybe 3 with Ron Paul a distant 3d. If Santorum’s going to make a move, it’s gotta be quick. He’s a more credible VP, however, than any of the others I think.

Seems like Cain and his team are marketing this event for maximum media attention. If he was out, it doesn’t make a lot of since for them to do this. If I had to guess, he will stay in.

Holy Crap.

If Block did that, it would go down in the history books.

That would be funny!

I just keep seeing Dan Rather and those fake TANG docs. I'm so sick of this and I have really lost hope that we will have anyone other than Obama being sworn in come January, 2013.

Sad but true. When his poll numbers cratered it’s impossible to now make the ascent. Funding and support has slowed.

Unfortunately, the former regional Fed chair hasn’t even demonstrated a grasp on Fed issues. Remember, he’s a Greenspan man.

He should stay in. Don’t embolden the liberal smear machine or they’ll double down on their efforts to destroy the personal lives — as well as the campaigns — of all the other candidates. Someone has to stand up to them.
