A man and a woman have been arrested after one-month-old baby was allegedly raped and battered. The tiny child had a heart attack brought on by his injuries and is fighting for his life. He was rushed to Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, on Thursday at 7am, but was transferred to London's King's College Hospital after having a cardiac arrest there.

There was also a sexual injury and internal wounds suggesting rape. A 46-year-old man was under arrest last night on suspicion of rape and grievous bodily harm. A woman was also in custody.
So, these "people" were not kids. Just unbelievable.
I wonder if this has to do with the belief, current in some parts of Africa, that intercourse with an infant will cure AIDS.

At that point in an infants development most of the bones are still primarily cartliage. Hard to imagine what that child suffered for those types of injuries.

It is a folk superstition in some parts of Africa, however it would have to be a female infant, for a rather obvious reason.
More likely your second suggestion of “sociopath on drugs”.
Or just plain old “sociopath” or “psychopath”.
They should take those two people outside near a brick wall and shoot them both. I’ll volunteer.

Judging from the shape of the accused’s face, I’d say that this woman was herself molested at a very young age (certainly in early infancy).
I am sure that that probably has a lot to do with the creation of these monsters.

oh, isn’t it though? Whose child was this? One month old? All the pain and suffering this child has gone through at only one month old? Dearest God in heaven what is going on in our world? Animals don’t treat theri children like that. Where was the mother and the father? Who are the people who did this? I am so angry my insides feel like they are on fire. I am sod th saddend my heart is breaking. I hope these two people go to hell and burn and burn and burn again over and over and over again. If that makes me bad then I am bad but I’m tired of hearing this kind ofthing and seeing innocent children burned, stabbed, raped, punched, kicked etc...I’m SICK of it and hope everyone is is or will get toi the same place. There are people in this world who make mistakes and then there are people in this world who are just plain evil and bad and have the devil inside them. I hope and pray to God that someone will. adopt this sweet innocent and give him a good life with love, God, faith, honor and joy, For those who did this I wish just the opposite. They shouldbe put in a hole and covered up to never see the light of God’s green earth again.

you are correct. He deserves a name. I am going to pray for him and going to ask God to spare him and allow his mind to erase all the horrors that were done to him. I think we should all give him a name of our own and we can use his name when we pray for him. I’m sure everyone will want to give him a name of some good person in their lives. I will say my rosary and will say my novena and will insert this beautiful little boy’s name where appropriate. Thank you for the idea. I hope everyone will do the same. He is NOT an it...he is a child of God.
