Been to DC and Paris also Israel and Jordan. I had the option of going to Egypt on the same trip to Israel and Jordan and declined. My sister went to Egypt with a high school group. A teacher of hers who was with her on that trip was offered 20 sheep and goats for her. He laughed it off but there was something chilling about the whole thing to me when it was told to me after she had come back.
many years ago a friend of mine was traveling around the middle east in a vw van, as he approached a check point in the desert he saw a lady on the side of the road, when he passed her he heard a thump..when he got up to the checkpoint the soldier started screaming and pointed at the bumper, there was blood all over it, the lady had thrown a goat head at him, and came running up saying he killed her baby..they took all cash they could find and let him go..your daughter was lucky..
