I had the same reaction!!!
David Brooks! Puhleeze!

Was he part of the Main Street Republicans? Talk about the RINO club!

Mitt helped to formulate the Main Street Republicans! They helped to destroy whatever Conservatism GWB came to the Presidency with!!

I loved the format and I think the questions were direct, detailed and fair.

Each candidate did themselves well.

Now we can all better make up our individual minds.

Thomas Jefferson carried a pistol when he took a walk and he advised us to do the same

He did not have 300 armed Secret Service men guarding him with 16 F16s above as Obama does when he goes abroad - and neither do we

Newt thinks he can talk coyotes, Congress, and Obama to death

Less talk - More self-reliance and more evidence of instant decisive action

Blue-Glasers are a dandy choice of cartridges - deadly - untraceable

Mitt’s delivery was perhaps the most disjointed.

You know, it seems like Romney is losing his cool lately. I don't recall him being so flustered before; nor in 2007-8.

John it sure looks like to me Newt or Mitt. Who’s your pick at this stage of the game?

Gingrich understands precisely what this election is all about. The Marxist and his people do too.
The others see pieces of the picture; Newt sees the heart of the matter, the Alinsky-Leninist brood running our government.

It's like Newt watched all those Glenn Beck shows, paid attention, took notes, thought about solutions... and now he's ready to go up against the Alinsky-Leninists in a way that none of the other candidates have even thought about yet.

I can’t entertain voting for Ron Paul.

Honestly, I do not understand who does. Not only his policies, but he looks like he may keel over any minute. Between worrying about his walking and his eyebrow falling off--I can't even watch.

I doubt much can be done if they’re a citizen...however you can bet their neighbors are watching and in some cases the authorities. They are not to be trusted IMO as their mindset doesn’t work as ours does...they think differently in every way. Further they have no intentions whatsoever of assimulating when they come here.

IMO If they want to be a citizen in our country and they take the oath to our country,...then they can’t continue in the muslim agenda and ideology without living a lie....the two are not compatible in any sense of the word. So if they continue with the Koran and attend their Mosque/Bases they are traitors to our nation. Their whole agenda is the islamification of our nation and it’s people and not a Imam teaches otherwise.

Oh, well, I guess it is water over the dam now.

He was on Hannity talking about that the other day. 47 texts were initiated by her asking for financial assistance. And you're right, the truth is going to come out and it's not going to matter.

Mitt has spent the past many years “knowing” he was the slick haired boy and it was “his turn” to be POTUS in 2012......the lad is disjointed because the Conservative public is saying “Not so fast, Willard!”

Perry did well but he confused me on his Obamacare answer. Executive order and Sec. HHS rulemaking.
Would he also lead an effort to repeal it?

**************************************************

I think Perry wants to kill parts of it ASAP and by EO, he can do that.

To get rid of it in Congress could take months depending on who gets the majority in the Senate. But I’m sure Perry would work with Congress to repeal ObamaCare as well.

“Gingrich understands precisely what this election is all about.”

I keep wondering through the candidates but I keep coming back to Newt. He seems to have a clear thought process and knowledge on the subject when answering a question and responds in a manner that the average person can understand.

It is easy to understand why Newt is rising in the polls. He also appears to be the only one zeroing in on Zero and sends salvos into the ranks of the msm which they deserve. I don’t know, I just keep coming back to Newt.

You appear to have reservations similar to mine.

I am holding my endorsement, the horse race is more like a steeplechase at present.

Good post onyx.

Truth is we will have to vote for someone. If it winds up being either Newt or Mitt,I would guess most here would opt for Newt. I know I would.

It was wonderful to get to hear them speak their minds without inturruptions and snide remarks about their answers and positions. I hope they get some more forums like this!

Judging by recent polls, both in early primary states and nationally, people are seeing it Gingrich’s way and viewers watching tonight had the chance to see the others too.

Gingrich’s closing statement nailed this election for all to hear and see.

You have to know the Marxist and/or his peeps were watching....LOL.

I’m beginning to understand how some of you read a comment and completely misunderstand. I LOVE jewelery, I have jewelery and I watched Callista to see what she was wearing........and you turned it around into a ‘critical’ comment when it was not. Typical.
