For the second time in two weeks, a major explosion has severely damaged another Iranian nuclear facility. Who is behind these mysterious explosions, the assassination of nuclear experts, and the bugging of computers at centrifuge centers processing enriched uranium? Interviewed on the Voice of Israel, Defense Minister Ehud Barak assessed various aspects of the Iranian file shortly after Iranian rioters smashed their way into th British embassy in what was an obvious show of the Tehran regime's attitude to London. Analyst David Essing reads between the lines of Defense Minister Ehud Barak's guarded assessment of Israel's current approach to Iran's nuclear weapons program and what the rest of the world is or is not doing about it.

Was Israel involved in the latest explosion at the uranium enrichment facility near Isfahan? This is obviously a closely guarded secret in the Jewish state and mum's the word by anyone in the know. Ehud Barak sidestepped the questions by responding enigmatically: 'In Iran, accidents happen and so do other things'; he did not elaborate. The week before, a huge blast crippled Iran's major missile site killing the founder of the missile project. When queried about that explosion, which the Iranians described as an accident, Barak retorted: 'Let there be more!'

I’ve been wondering about the military technology needed to make this happen to look like an accident, and not a present from the sky. Do the Israelis have strong enough laser powered weapons yet? Perhaps an inside job with spooks at the facility?

Sounds like some Heron TP drones have been getting some real time testing. Those things are nothing to mess with either, they have a wingspan of 86 feet (roughly the size of a 737) and they can fly up to 20 hours (making Iran well within reach) and according to the description, they are used "primarily for surveillance and carrying diverse payloads."

When I read the title, I thought Obama was behind the hits on Iran’s nuclear facilities. When I realized it was Israli Defense Minister Ehud Barak’s possible doings, I was encouraged. Why can’t Zer0 get one thing right with the Iranian nuclear program? I think it is because Zer0 wants Iran to take Israel out as quick as possible with its nukes.

Somebody’s testing kinetic weapons (apparently with great success). Rods from God or railguns. I would think either of these incoming would be very difficult to detect.

Could be. But Israel doesn’t have the ability to drop them from orbit, so the launch platform must be some kind of stealth drone.

The railgun projectiles wouldn’t have to come from space and the X37 has been gone a long time. Maybe the Israelis bought some cargo space.
