Senate Approves Sodomy in Military - Report any "conservative" talk radio comments here - if any.

I could be wrong about this but here goes:

This grotesque bill, see link below, was passed on Thursday. I didn't listen to talk radio on Friday but I suspect it wasn't mentioned by Rush, Hannity or Levin. I could be wrong.

My guess is our talk radio pundits won't touch it. The fix is in. THe Pink Hand touches all, even Jim Demint. Cowards.

I suspect that passage of this was a part of backroom quid pro quo in exchange for a conscience clause giving military chaplains the right to refuse to perform same-sex marriages.

I suspect this is the last nail in the coffin for the republic. It's official we live in a homo/green/socialist country and there is nothing that will change it short of Civil War.

On Nov. 15, the Senate Armed Services Committee unanimously approved S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act, which includes the following provision (p. 147):

"(d) REPEAL OF SODOMY ARTICLE. - Section 925 of such title (article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice) is repealed."

From the Uniform Code of Military Justice :

"§ 925. ARTICLE. 125. Sodomy

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.

(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct."

On Dec. 1, 2011, 08:02 PM, the U.S. Senate, by a vote of 93-7, approved Senate Bill 1867.

“It’s easier to post those Voting Against:

Tom Harkin
Rand Paul
Tom Coburn
Jeff Merkley
Ron Wyden
Mike Lee
Bernie Sanders”

If only the Republicans could pick-up 58 Senate Seats in next year’s election!

It would not change a thing if the Eepublicans in the Senate had 99 seats, including the vice Prsident. The lone Democrat would stil run things and set the agenda. Do you recall when the Republican Party controlled both Houses of Congress and the White House?

“Do you recall when the Republican Party controlled both Houses of Congress and the White House?”

Of course I remember those days when the Republicans controlled the White House, the Senate and the House.

It was a time when our government under complete Republican control balanced the budget, cut off 100% of the funding to Planned Parenthood, cut off 100% of the funding to NPR, prevented the banning of incandescent light bulbs, tightened lending regulations which prevented a collapse in housing prices and completely stopped illegal immigration.

This is what you get. When them there log cabin conservatives say things like. What two people do in the privacy of their home is no business of mine. Or how does homosexuality effect you?

Just curious, are then any military prohibitions against pedophilia, rape, incest and polygamy? If so, I wonder how long they will remain on the books since sodomy and bestiality are now “OK” in the eyes of the law.

“Tom Harkin

In the cases of Sanders and Harkin, I’m surprised. Were they mad that it didn’t include provisions for eliminating bans on pedophilia, rape, incest and polygamy? I wonder what Rand Paul’s reasoning was although I’m happy to read he voted against it.
