It’s an Obama world. While we were preoccupied with other disastrous Obama policies, military bureaucrats under Barack Obama passed a new rule that barred loved ones from bringing Bibles to wounded soldiers.
The US Military says they are rescinding the order but only after a Republican lawmaker denounced the policy on the House floor. Todd Starnes reported:
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center said they are rescinding a policy that prohibits family members of wounded military troops from bringing Bibles or any religious reading materials to their loved ones.
The decision to rescind the ban on Bibles came exactly one day after a Republican lawmaker denounced the policy on the House floor and called on President Obama to publicly renounce the military policy.
“The President of the United States should address this and should excoriate the people who brought about this policy and the individual who brought it about should be dismissed from the United States Military,” Rep. Steve King (R-IA) told Fox News & Commentary.
King spoke from the House floor Thursday blasting a policy memorandum from the commander of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center written by Chief of Staff C.W. Callahan. The September 14th memo covers guidelines for “wounded, ill, and injured partners in care.”

As for this idiotic policy and whoever came up with it, their feelings or problem with God's Word, well, that is between them and their Maker. God is not mocked.
But someone needs to tell the genius in charge of this fiasco that we answer to this document in the USofA. Fought for by the blood, sweat and tears of those in uniform. It is our God-given right!

Apparently, the name hasn’t stuck very well. My niece is a doctor and has been stationed there for about a year, and she calls it Bethesda. :)
Where the H*** Did this colonel get his politically correct lobodomy in ordering this. Was he going to kick out the Christian chaplains and turn the chapel into a storage room too?
Is C.W. Callahan a homosexual or just another one of your New Age “military” types? What about the First Amendment scares the hell out of him?

This incident just fortifies my opinion that our military all the way through is festered with officers not tuned to the Founders establishment of a God favored Nation. I would enjoy nothing more than to see Lt. Col./Congressman West become POTUSA and clean out top to bottom the military of Muslim loving personnel who would change/kill the roots of this exceptional Nation. He could also make some of those who forced him out of service explain their actions. Beyond all this, West is a very intelligent, educated person with a family that truly comes from the roots of this Nation and is incomparable times the patriotism of the Obama family.

-on behalf of my wife and myself, married at Walter Reed Military Chapel
-on behalf of my late father, CWS, WW2, who spent time recovering from an illness in a military hospital
-on behalf of my late uncle, AAF, who was badly injured in the line of duty and spent 6 months in a military hospital
-on behalf of the Army chaplain who gave me a ride in Saigon and the Navy medic at Ca Mau who cured whatever wrecked my stomach (I had to walk out of a briefing by Gen. Cushman)

Right! The missionaries are sending bibles in balloons over Christmas to North Korea. The Westboro Church is allowed to protest under free speech at military funerals.
BUT, an injured soldier is not allowed to practice their faith?! This is ridiculous. Thank God someone was paying attention and the order is being rescinded.
We need a prayer vigil -- in front of the White House -- on our knees -- 24 hours a day until Americans add this hedonist creep to the roles of the unemployed.
