Gingrich fires back at Pelosi over threat
The Hill ^ | December 5, 2011 | Justin Sink

Posted on 12/05/2011 12:13:48 PM PST by maggief

Newt Gingrich said that a threat from Nancy Pelosi to disclose information she learned while serving on an ethics committee investigating him during his time as Speaker of the House would "totally abuse the ethics process" and violate rules of the House of Representatives.

"I want to thank Speaker Pelosi for what I regard as an early Christmas gift," Gingrich said at a press conference in Manhattan Monday.

Gingrich denounced Pelosi's threat as "a fundamental violation of the rules of the House," and said that if Pelosi were to disclose details of the investigation, it would expose the "tainted ethics process the House was engaged in." He also called for the House to condemn Pelosi if she were to reveal anything from the ethics probe.

Good for Newt. He will shred her. She wants the gavel back so bad she can “taste” it.

Two hours after I’m sworn in as President, and by the time Obama lands in Chicago, I will have forty percent of Obama’s government dismantled. - Newt Gingrich

A “Celebrity” match between these two would be awesome. Pelousi, of course, would come to the fight totally unarmed.

Well, we have seen what a censure from the House is worth - diddly-squat. So although I do agree that Pelosi spilling details about an official House Ethics Committee investigation would be a violation of House rules, the real joke is what passes for House rules.

Pelosi brings new depths to the term “bimbo”.

Were not for God’s gift to the mentally challenged (service as congresscritters), this idiot-ess would be at the end of her short time as a maid. (No insult intended to maids, who perform far above the ability of the bimbo.)

Hey Nancy, just dream of where you would be had you not boinked a rich guy.

Pelosi has ethics? Nancy Pelosi used political donations to pay husband’s firm

By Carol Eisenberg

October 2, 2008 at 12:56pm

Nancy Pelosi’s political action committee has paid close to $100,000 to her husband’s San Francisco firm over the past nine years for rent, utilities and accounting services, according to federal election records.

The payments by the House Speaker’s “PAC to the Future” to Paul Pelosi’s firm, Financial Leasing Services Inc. (FLS), were first reported yesterday by the Washington Times.
