Skip to comments.Christian Group Blasts Newt Gingrich In New Ad

Pro Romney propaganda piece ~ is this meaningful in a world where Mitt can only pull 1/5 of the Republican base?
Ouch. Man that is taking off the gloves.
Did they happen to mention who they’re backing to beat Obama?
No?...You mean this is just another disguised pro-Obama ad?
Gee, I thought the political enemy was Obama.
“Donner party, your table is ready!”
Romney ad as someone described.
BUT, what about this NOW?
Poll Position brings us the very first post-Cain national primary survey: Poll Position National Republican Primary Gingrich 36.6% (32.1) Romney 23.4% (23.2) Paul 7.1% (5.6) Bachmann 6.2% (4.1) Perry 3.2% (4.9) Huntsman 2.4% (2.7) Santorum 2.0% (-) Undecided 15.1% (11.1) Survey of 502 likely primary voters (+/-4% MoE) was conducted Dec 4. Numbers in parentheses are from their poll conducted Nov 27.
When was this “Group” originally founded?
Who are their leaders?
Where in Iowa is their headquarters?
Do they have a Board of Directors?
WHO are these people?
How do they contribute to positive Christian works?
What ministers, priests are part of this group?
I trust Newt completely to rollback environmental regulations strangling the economy and increase the exploitation of our own natural resources. I can’t the same thing about Mitt Romney.
It would seem that Bob Vander Plaats might question the Christian spirit of this group.
“Pro Romney propaganda piece”
I doubt it.
This is from an evangelical group in Iowa. If they have a candidate it’s either Bachmann or Santorum.
Gingrich will probably not win Iowa with all his personal baggage and his campaign will implode shortly thereafter.
Bachmann, Santorum or Perry will have a chance to get back in the game.
“Pro Romney propaganda piece ~ is this meaningful in a world where Mitt can only pull 1/5 of the Republican base?”
He’ll have to pull them off to get their vote...
I’m looking forward to 2016 and voting against the incumbant.
Unless he makes a serious mistake, what is going to stop him from doing so a month before the Iowa caucus? All these attacks are old news that most voters are aware.
“Gingrich will probably not win Iowa with all his personal baggage and his campaign will implode shortly thereafter.”
Hahahahahaha...great comedy is timeless.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
“You mean this is just another disguised pro-Obama ad”
No. Obama also believes in the global warming hoax and this group is fighting against it.
“Im looking forward to 2016 and voting against the incumbant.”
No kidding....with the circular firing squad that are the Republicans I can see Obama hanging on for 4 more.
In a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night, Gingrich takes 25 percent to 18 percent for Texas Rep. Ron Paul and 16 percent for former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney ... Look into the guts of each poll, however, and Gingrichs strength is more fully revealed
This is the danger with Newt. It all really happened, it’s documented and on tape stuff. It’s like a stroll down memory lane and this is just the stuff that we were knowledgable about. Things that were not covered or exposed to the people because it was before the Internet age. Wait til some of that starts surfacing.
I think Newt will crash and burn in the polls in about 2 weeks. THEN we ARE screwed. No time to put someone to the top after that. It will be Romney because he was hanging by his toes til the voting started.
Now it will be up to Newt’s supporters to try and keep him up. The sad thing is, the core will stay with him, the ones who fled to him because they thought he was heading up and gonna win..well, they will fail him when he needs it most.
Again, this is the way it is supposed to go. You could see it when they started out on Palin. IF you are conservative, IF you have any ties to the Tea Party or profess that you would honor their opinions and ideas..you are toast. For the life of me I can’t understand how the GOP party can get up in the morning and make coffee..I mean, come on!
That must be form the ‘Taliban’ wing of the “Christian Party”.
“great comedy is timeless”
Rudy Giuliani was polling very high nationally in December of 2007, but was effectively out of the race after he failed to win IA and NH. Newt has the same kind of personal baggage.
Great...this glass ceiling perfect Christian group must be thrilled when their white knight doesn’t appear and Obama is left to run against a Morman. Nice, real nice how we slaughter our own without any help from Obama or the MSM.
That must be from the ‘Taliban’ wing of the “Christian Party”.
You can have Perry. He makes Bush look like a genious.
“Rudy Giuliani was polling very high nationally in December of 2007, but was effectively out of the race after he failed to win IA and NH. Newt has the same kind of personal baggage.”
True, but as Jim Rob pointed out, Rudy didn’t ally “himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy either, now, did he?

I like Santorum and Mitchell as well. I wish we could take a good look a them too.
But if Newt convinces me...enough... I can see myself voting for him... eventually. I, like everyone else, I can't imagine taking 4 more years of OHOMO...This man is immoral beyond belief and I may have to compromise to get rid of him and Newt would do it.
Sounds very much like someone who's NOT Evangelical trying to imitate what he or she thinks Evangelicals think.
That'd be the Mitbots, or maybe the Obots ~
The primary journey is long and begins with the first vote cast. We shall cast our votes or not and see who is the last man or woman standing. For some, there is not one standing now or there is one standing in the shadows. Whatever happens, four more years of Obama is not something I wish to see. And as for as tearing down this republic to start over, it is not something any of us should want to see because what we might get may not be what we would like. Of course, I know there are some who want to see such a disaster and four more years of Obama could very well bring about such.
This ad is FACTUAL and I love it. I’m not afraid of the truth...I welcome it.
Why do some people keep swallowing Gingrich’s lies? He’s NOT a Conservative.
I just can’t believe the short memory spans of some of you.
Do your our research...it ain’t that difficult.
No matter who’s behind the video, the only person who will have to answer for it is Newt.
Look, I’m Catholic and I’m not claiming to be part of this group.
This 'christian' group is featured at dailypaul.com central.
So this ultra-Christian outfit is for... the Mormon.... Hmm... ok. Right.
Well, of course not ~ it may or may not have happened, but that's what the Mitbots and Obots are reduced to with Newt. Or, they can recycle old stuff ~ like delivery of divorce papers (when we already know SHE's the one who divorced Newt, and that was after she damaged his young psyche with extracurricular sex with a student ~ she's 7years older than him! Today we'd put her in prison.)
It is my concerted belief that the group behind this, Iowans for Christian Leaders in Government are in fact not Iowans, and not all that Christian. They are an anonymous smear group... I’m guessing there’s some Romenybots behind this dreck.
Giuliani is from New York. Are you telling me Newt is from New York?
I can’t say that I’m surprised.
All good questions that I wish I could dig up the answers to... believe me, I’ve tried. I can’t get anything on, or off the record on who the people are... which is why I suspect it’s Willard, or the ‘Rats...
You still need to learn the subtle nuances ~ BTW, I learned what “Pro-Cathedral” means so you’ll need to learn the difference between Pentecostal and Reformed, OK? Seem fair?
Folks, we ...er...the trolls of Massachusetts elected Dead Ted and Mad Bawney many times.
Libtrolls elected Clinton.
Libtrolls elected Obama.
We therefore have established standards for the presidency and for congresscritters.
Those standards are so low that there is no longer a point in having standards.
So, let’s just get someone in there to kick the Cretin-in-Chief and his felon/cretin friends out, indict them, and imprison them.
>>>This is from an evangelical group in Iowa.
No proof of that. It’s an anonymous group claiming to be Iowans... I suspect otherwise... but got no proof, just as you have none to say they are.
Romney isn’t the one to talk. How about a one on one debate between Mitt and Newt? Let’s see which one would make the best president. and then think some more.
Libertarians aren't like you and I ~ they are really different. These are just words to them, so is it the potential for discord that grabbed their attention?
I think it takes someone a little bit more OCD about marriage to put the piece together ~
At the time I recall how conspicuous it was - Rogan, et. al. (the "House managers") had to carry the ball and Newt was effectively muted on the subject. I thought then, and suspect now that he was being blackmailed by Clinton, who had knowledge of Newt's affair and it was used to keep him at a reduced and almost invisible profile with respect to the impeachment issue. Had Newt been able to advocate freely, I'm not certain that the Senate would have fulfilled their duty to try the case after actually looking at the evidence, but the chances would have been greater.
Your gut suspicion is probably right. See post #29.
