I trust Newt completely to rollback environmental regulations strangling the economy and increase the exploitation of our own natural resources. I can’t the same thing about Mitt Romney.
It would seem that Bob Vander Plaats might question the Christian spirit of this group.

This is from an evangelical group in Iowa. If they have a candidate it’s either Bachmann or Santorum.
Gingrich will probably not win Iowa with all his personal baggage and his campaign will implode shortly thereafter.
Bachmann, Santorum or Perry will have a chance to get back in the game.

This is the danger with Newt. It all really happened, it’s documented and on tape stuff. It’s like a stroll down memory lane and this is just the stuff that we were knowledgable about. Things that were not covered or exposed to the people because it was before the Internet age. Wait til some of that starts surfacing.
I think Newt will crash and burn in the polls in about 2 weeks. THEN we ARE screwed. No time to put someone to the top after that. It will be Romney because he was hanging by his toes til the voting started.
Now it will be up to Newt’s supporters to try and keep him up. The sad thing is, the core will stay with him, the ones who fled to him because they thought he was heading up and gonna win..well, they will fail him when he needs it most.
Again, this is the way it is supposed to go. You could see it when they started out on Palin. IF you are conservative, IF you have any ties to the Tea Party or profess that you would honor their opinions and ideas..you are toast. For the life of me I can’t understand how the GOP party can get up in the morning and make coffee..I mean, come on!

True, but as Jim Rob pointed out, Rudy didn’t ally “himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy” either, now, did he?

I like Santorum and Mitchell as well. I wish we could take a good look a them too.
But if Newt convinces me...enough... I can see myself voting for him... eventually. I, like everyone else, I can't imagine taking 4 more years of OHOMO...This man is immoral beyond belief and I may have to compromise to get rid of him and Newt would do it.

The primary journey is long and begins with the first vote cast. We shall cast our votes or not and see who is the last man or woman standing. For some, there is not one standing now or there is one standing in the shadows. Whatever happens, four more years of Obama is not something I wish to see. And as for as tearing down this republic to start over, it is not something any of us should want to see because what we might get may not be what we would like. Of course, I know there are some who want to see such a disaster and four more years of Obama could very well bring about such.
This ad is FACTUAL and I love it. I’m not afraid of the truth...I welcome it.

Romney isn’t the one to talk. How about a one on one debate between Mitt and Newt? Let’s see which one would make the best president. and then think some more.

At the time I recall how conspicuous it was - Rogan, et. al. (the "House managers") had to carry the ball and Newt was effectively muted on the subject. I thought then, and suspect now that he was being blackmailed by Clinton, who had knowledge of Newt's affair and it was used to keep him at a reduced and almost invisible profile with respect to the impeachment issue. Had Newt been able to advocate freely, I'm not certain that the Senate would have fulfilled their duty to try the case after actually looking at the evidence, but the chances would have been greater.
