Doesn’t really matter does it? It’s down, effectively behind enemy lines, in unknown condition, and will never be retrieved. And Savage has this caller pegged, I have my suspicions about this bozo too.

Savage was absolutely right. Software controls hardware, and hardware can be reverse engineered to strongly suggest the software, encrypted or not. And as far as “robot builders” are concerned, it’s a pretty active hobby. Platforms, server motors, pic microprocessors, sensors of various types, feedback control loops. I sensed the guy was a crank from the get-go. And the previous guy that suggested that the iranians were stupid was equally a crank.
Does anyone think any of Savages callers are fake? Some of them sound awfully alike sometimes.

At the the time it was the only stealth aircraft, I believe. Now everyone has 'em. BTW Carter authorized the F-117 black program (Senior Trend).
As I recall the Serbs used good old fashioned brain power to down the F-117. They figured that a raid on such-and-such means that the craft would exit the country at a certain location. They were waiting for the low flying F-117s.
I hear what you are saying, and have noted that some, especially the adversarial ones sound like they are purposely disguising their voices. As for all being the same guy, I don’t hear that. I found the outburst at the end of the last one pretty funny. Knew it was coming.
I agree with Savage on this. If this was a secret British weapon lost behind Nazi lines, you can rest assured it would be investigated to the point that they’d know if the “pilot” had intestinal gas when the incident occurred before they were satisfied.
The F-117 and the B-2 were very well protected to the best of my knowledge. There were a lot of guesses about what the F-117 looked like but none were correct. I do not recall any speculation about the B-2.
Back then there were very little chance that H1B folks could be working on black programs. But today?
