STOCKTON - A letter sent to Lincoln Unified teachers that may have sounded like it came from the Grinch who stole Christmas has become fodder for how far school districts are willing to go in recognizing the separation of church and state.

The letter from the Lincoln Unified district office told teachers not to display Santa Claus or poinsettias in order to maintain sensitivity toward those who don't celebrate Christmas.

This anti Christian stuff is approaching the boiling point. I’d hate to be the ones on the “Anti” side when she blows. And it will!

How about those intolerant freaks show some respect for those who do celebrate.

lol.

They will take Arabic names, bring them to a Mosque, tell them to pray to Allah and memorize lines from the Koran but that would be fine.

lol

Somehow Santa and some flowers is religious...

Separation of mainstream Christianity and state.

Religions of all minority groups welcome.

Yes, but the airing of grievances may only last one hour before instruction resumes.

I wondered if a similar letter go outs asking teachers to be sensitive toward children who don't celebrate Gay Pride Week.

This part is funny:

“Snowmen and snowflakes, however, were considered acceptable.”

There is never any snow in the area.

THERE IS NO SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.
Not in our Constitution.
Not in anything our founders and the framers said.
Not in anything they wrote.
We must stop these people. Our Nation is sliding into hell.

The way you end this anti-Christmas absurdity, is to convince 300+ million Americans to end the consumerism associated with Christmas.

If 300+ million Americans said....OK no Santa Clause, no Christmas Tree, then no shopping, and no money goes on my credit card from Oct 1 to Dec 31.

This movement by these (whatever they are) to end Merry Christmas would end overnight. I’ll guarantee it.

INSANITY!

What has caused Americans to become so self loathing in a mere 45 years?

So what about the majority who DO celebrate Christmas? Oh yeah, that’s right all we are good for is to pay more taxes to support these people.

Sharia 4 Ua. That’s all it is. And there isn’t much difference between the left and the islamists.

Santa is the humanistic replacement of Jesus at Christmas time. I find it odd that many will believe in man who comes down chimneys compared to a man who took away their sins.

I'm good with this. From December 26th - January 6th, any non-Christians in the school can continue going to school, and the study focus can be on religious freedom, the foundation of our government, and the constitution. Oh, and teachers can not get paid extra for this time.

Or they can put up the damn Santa Clauses and poinsettias and even acknowledge that it is a celebration of Christ.

I just want to see or meet the person that is “offended” by Santa Claus, poinsettias, Christmas Trees, etc.

Traditions that have been around for 200 years here in this great country. When I meet this person, I just want to say how much despise everything about their narcissist self centered attention seeking insecure self absorbed mind and what utter Humbugs they are.

As Dennis Prager says, the LEFT is all about taking the Joy out of life. The LEFT does few things well but what they do well, they are the best at. And taking the Joy out of life is their specialty.
