I have never lived in a big city, but the very thought makes me claustrophobic. You are surrounded by so many people that you don't really have the choice of not interacting with people who target you. When you live in the suburbs, you spend your traveling time in a car where thugs can't get at you easily. When you live in a big city, most of your traveling time is on foot, where you are vulnerable to any thug that wants to harass you. I can fully see why young kids would need to be in some sort of gang to protect themselves from being victimized, without really having a choice about it.

I hate cities, but Agenda 21 is going to jam us all into massive government housing projects run like prisons. And prisons always have gangs.

It's the truth. My wife grew up in Brooklyn, and I grew up about as remote and country as you can get (How 2 people of such differing backgrounds got together is a story for another time...) Whenever we went into "the city" to visit her family, I was on-edge the whole time. Her idea of showing me the sights only pushed me to a greater state of "awareness".

The city never looked so good as it did in my rear-view mirror...

Idaho and Montana aren’t relocating anyone to big cities. Get your land out there now. You can get homes that are more self-sufficient/off the grid setups too.
