Mother tried to sell her 8-month old baby for $7,000 in 'a sign of the times'

A mother has been arrested after trying to sell her eight month old son for $7,000.

Kenia Quiala Bosque, 30, arranged to meet a prospective buyer in Miami to hand over her newborn son.

Police were tipped off about the sale and an undercover officer went to the meeting posing as the buyer leading to her arrest, authorities told NBC Miami.

So, she either sells the baby to someone who wants a child for a lump sum of $7k or keeps the baby and gets the $7k in monthly allotments via the taxpayers. At least with the first option, the baby stands a chance.
