A longtime Chicago priest who has battled violence and poverty from his South Side Catholic church became a victim of violence himself this morning when two masked men broke into the church rectory and beat and robbed him, authorities said.
The robbers, dressed in black like "ninjas," entered 80-year-old Daniel Mallette's upstairs bedroom at the rectory of St. Margaret of Scotland Church at about 12:30 a.m. and woke him up, police said. They dragged him out of bed and forced him to his knees and demanded to know "where the money was," according to the police report.

You would think that the South Side of Chicago would be Ground Zero for "World Peace 1.20.09."
Prayers up for this priest.
God forgive me for what I want to happen to the robbers.

Those damn Amish strike again! May god have mercy on them and bless the Priest so that he may recover.

The lack of a description is in itself a partial description.
