Barbara Lee sounds as dingy as Cynthia McKinney.

On Wednesday, Lee charged that the ID laws would prevent 1 in 4 blacks from voting, and 1 in 5 Hispanics and Asian Americans. She also said the laws are a return to the voter suppression that was seen in the controversial 2000 presidential election.

Preposterous, though it will help stop ineligible voters and people from voting more than once.

Exactly, the Democrats don’t like the law because it makes it harder for the dead to vote and other people to vote twice.

It will prevent 1 in 4 black votes, and 1 in 5 hispanic and asian votes - not voters. Which tells us (though she didn’t intend to) that 1 in 4 and 1 in 5 ballots cast from these groups are fraudulent.

What she is doing is endorsing Democratic ballot box stuffing.

How can merely asking for an ID stop any eligible voter from voting.

As far as Barbara Lee sounding like Cynthia McKinney-—have you ever listened to anyone from the Black Congressional Caucus speak?

They all sound like Cynthia Mckinney with the exception of Allen West . The Black Congressional Caucus is the Klan with a Tan, As racist as any skinhead.

Yep, that was the election they tried to not count the military ballots, but that didn’t seem to bother them.

we all knew that this was coming, the tactic of scare mongering the blacks and hispanics to get their vote out.

We know the MSM will start saying how much better the economy is going now.
Talking points will be “we were not ready for the economy being that bad and so it took us longer to fix but now we see an improvement and we don’t want to go back to what got us into this mess “

We know the left will now say republicans want to get rid of SS, medicare etc but they know no republicans want to do that and the only person up there who does is not a republican anyway, it is Ron Paul.

So it’s score the elderly, the blacks, the hispanics.
Then the unions will send their flyers out every day to the addresses of union members saying a bunch of lies to get the unions out to vote.
Teachers will be getting students out to vote and be telling parents how bad the republicans are in their area and for congress.

The media have not got out of kissing their messiahs arse yet so they will carry on but dig deeper on republicans and some channels will deny AD’s on their networks again saying it is too divisive.

While people look away the move on’s and other groups will be getting dead people on the rolls again, they will use our tax money for their election , they will be ready for a massive election fraud and tell illegals to vote.

Meanwhile the DOJ will have in place their racist lot to go after republicans and their areas, but ignore their illegal voting
SO SO PREDICTABLE .

a disproportionate number of these affected voters come from communities of color as well as the poor, the elderly and students

If you're talking about providing ID and proof of address in order to vote, the "affected voters" will be people who don't exist. I guess that's a core Democratic constituency.

Barb’s people get arrested all the time, they have to show ID for that. They get government help all the time, they have to show ID for that.

They have ID. But if they have to show ID, they can’t just claim to be someone they aren’t.

They have to show ID for liquor, check cashing, any bank teller transaction, when a cop asks for it, when welfare workers ask for it, to get medical prescriptions at Walgreens, all this stuff requires ID and somehow Barb isn’t calling all this stuff as a way to prevent black people functioning in society. Show who you are to vote and somehow this is a burden most blacks can’t handle?

Nobody’s buying it. Sorry. In the rare cases people don’t have an ID and are poor it’s made available for free. That’s in all the legislation I’ve ever seen passed requiring photo ID for voting. Therefore, NO POLL TAX. Everyone pays for their ID otherwise, we’re all ‘burdened’ having to pay for state ID or licenses, Barb.

The county that I live in has ALWAYS requested ID before you’re allowed to vote. I have NEVER heard of any problems with this requirement.

Would she really have us believe that lack of photo ID is rampant in the black community?

Republicans are heartless!

Are there no dead people in your family? Do you not know how they would vote if still above room temperature? Do the dead ask for much? Do they indulge in the creation of Green House Gases like greedy Republicans? Why do they not qualify for those handy absentee ballots? Are they not indeed "absent?"

Where, O where is this "compassionate conservatism" one hears so much about? The fact that so many of these perpetual voters whom the Republicans wish to crack down upon are black is ipso facto proof of racism!

When they were trying to craft voter ID legislation in Georgia, the blacks first cried that some were unable to afford to get an ID. The lawmakers said fine, we will make an ID free to those that can't afford one.

Then the blacks whined that some were unable to get to a place to obtain a free ID. The lawmakers said fine, we will provide mobile units that will go around and make photo IDs available to those who can't get to an office.

At that point, the blacks screamed racism because some of them don't have the proper paperwork to get a free, mobile ID. Apparently the elderly don't even have birth certificates or anything to prove ID and citizenship.

I don't know how it finally worked out, but there is ALWAYS GOING TO BE A REASON THAT WHITES ARE RACISTS.

Maybe the blacks should spend as much time trying to bring their culture into the current or immediately past century.

Because requiring an ID to vote would require one to get off their fat ass and go get an ID? I see.

OK, so why is ID required to buy alcohol?

So why is ID required to buy cigarettes?

So why is ID required to board an airplane?

So why is ID required to open a bank account?

So why is ID required to drive a car?

So why is ID and registration (and sometimes a 2-week waiting period) required to buy a gun?

Tell Baba that we will gladly accept fingerprints in lieu of photo ID.

The voter has to stick around while we run his prints through AFIS, however.
