Nancy Pelosi Will Get Dirty If She Sullies Newt Gingrich

Politics: One former speaker of the House warns another that she will unleash privileged information if the architect of the ’94 GOP tsunami gets his party’s nomination. Culture of corruption, Nancy? Look in the mirror.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whose legislative excesses helped spawn the Tea Party movement that made her the ex-speaker, has fired a shot across the bow of former Speaker Newt Gingrich: Win the GOP nomination for president and I will unpack your baggage in public.

Except that she can't and she should know it.

"One of these days we'll have a conversation about Newt Gingrich," Pelosi told the website Talking Points Memo. "I know a lot about him. I served on the investigative committee that investigated him, four of us locked in a room in an undisclosed location for a year. A thousand pages of his stuff."

Gingrich, whose rise in the polls undoubtedly prompted the threat, thanked Pelosi for an "early Christmas gift" after meeting with iconic real estate developer and host of "Celebrity Apprentice" Donald Trump in hopes of a possible endorsement.

"First of all I'd like to thank Speaker Pelosi for what I regard as an early Christmas gift," Gingrich responded. "If she's suggesting she's gonna use material she developed while she was on the ethics committee, that is a fundamental violation of the rules of the House, and I would hope members would immediately file charges against her the second she does it."

Pelosi sat on the panel that investigated Gingrich's alleged violation of federal tax law in using tax-exempt monies to fund Gingrich's allegedly political college course, "Renewing American Civilization."

Nasty Pelosi and her gangster family are already filthy. And those boobs are sagging down around her waist, she needs a better bra.

I’ve also noticed that ‘Granny Nancy’ is getting more and more unsteady on her feet with age. I’m just waiting for her to bust her @ss when approaching the podium at one of her pressers.

I’m a Newt supporter and I hate Princess Nancy as much as anyone, but I can’t help thinking that any mud-slinging contest has to hurt Newt more than it does the princess.

She’s not running for prez, he is.

But the bigger question is, if she really has something, why would she bring this up now? Why not wait until after Newt is nominated (assuming)?

The fact that she’s bringing it up now, even before Iowa, makes me think it’s all a bluff.

I have absolutely no proof, but I've heard that the only way Pelosi got to the position of power in the House was because her mob connections have dirt on virtually every member of the house and threatened to use it if they didn't elect her Speaker. Given that she had never done anything of note prior to becoming Speaker, I thought there might be some truth to the rumor. Now, I'm sure of it. She's lower than slime...

Exactly why I’m leaning towards Newt. If that psychotic drug addled b*tch takes him on, he will destroy her. She may threaten to reveal his dirt, but God only knows what he’s got on her. Insider info trading, her drug addiction (see my tagline)...I mean come on, the woman constantly constantly constantly displays every symptom of cocaine abuse. My cousin works with addicts and she could not believe the videos of Pelosi. The jaw grinding, the mouth movements, the bug eyes, the hand flipping. It would be suicide for Pelosi to take on Newt and I pray to God she does. This woman needs to be exposed ASAP. It ticks me off to no end how just about every government taxpayer supported employee has to pee in a cup, all except Congress despite the fact that they impact the lives of millions of people. They want to terminate a fireman one year before his pension because he smoked a joint at a New Years eve party 4 months before, then fine...Let’s have Nancy piss in a cup as well.

"If she's suggesting she's gonna use material she developed while she was on the ethics committee, that is a fundamental violation of the rules of the House, and I would hope members would immediately file charges against her the second she does it."
That's weak, and it worries me that a) he would say it, b) he doesn't see how weak that is, c) the implication that he's not aware of the single cardinal fact in any presidential campaign: there are no secrets for Republicans.

Only Democrats can have stuff "off limits to the press". For Republicans, everything is completely open.

Newt has to realize that as a given.

Nancy will get the last word here.

Only she won’t get the credit for it.

She ran her mouth, now she has to release this a little at a time through her Media suck butts.

But: She will release it credit or not and we will know where it came from, but there isn’t a damned thing we can do about it.

I think the dems are trying to get Romney to be the nominee, so the assault is on any other candidate. They believe that 0bama can beat Romney, not so much some of the others.

The House ethics charges against Newt Gingrich were all politically motivated and came to nothing. The much-publicized $300,000 fine was overkill and was the result of a relatively minor infraction with no criminal intent whatsoever. Gingrich is no saint - and I'm not a supporter - but Nancy Pelosi is a classic corrupt Democrat insider that has profited nicely while 'serving' in congress. The former Speaker of the House is on very shaky legal and ethical ground with her 'warning'. However, I like Newt's in-your-face response to her snarky threat. Pelosi is not well liked by most Americans who see her as a none-too-bright, knee-jerk partisan politician. I'm sure that to some younger men, 71-year old, Botoxed Pelosie is a living example of the 'mother-in-law from hell' they worry that they may have to endure, some day. Dumb, opinionated and nasty. That's 'San Fran Nan'.

It’s really hard to believe Nancy is THAT stupid! Talk about opening a can of worms, throwing stones at glass houses, etc. She grew up in corruption. It’s innate.

However, there were those on here (anti-Newties) proclaiming “where there’s smoke there’s fire.” If there’s one thing about Newt’s dirty laundry background that benefits him, it’s the extent to which he was investigated by the Congress. Little new to be exposed.

Ditto the way the media went after him when he engineered the ‘94 takeover. He’s grown a thick skin. They can get as snarky and vicious as they want, it’ll be as water off a duck’s back.

“It’s really hard to believe Nancy is THAT stupid! Talk about opening a can of worms, throwing stones at glass houses, etc.”

She doesn’t have to say anything publicly. She can leak any lie she wants to the press and they will run with it. That way she can attack as a “confidential source” without any retaliation.

There’s nothing for her to “release.”
The MSM was all over this and served it up over and over. Newt was found to have comitted one error and 83 other charges were dismissed.

“She can leak any lie she wants to the press and they will run with it.”

She can try, but guarantee Newt would know and soon be able to prove the source. He knows this ‘game’ better than she. Remember, HE earned his Speakership; she was awarded it and all her leadership posts for the sake of ‘diversity.’

I think the idea that SHE, her very royal highness, could be brought up on ethics charges has her spooked. And if it stats, it would not stop with revealing privileged information. It would snowball out of control on her.

She’s not running for prez, he is.

That is true enough, but...she is running for Speaker if the Dems get the majority again. If she breaks the ethics committee's confidentiality rules, it will destroy her chances of getting the Speakership back.

IOW, she has skin in the game (Uggh!).

An error of omittance I am sure.

“This woman needs to be exposed, ASAP.”

All those Progressive swine have already been exposed, yet there are no repercussions.

It is not the Progressives in office that are the problem,
it’s the scu*bags who continually elect them.

IMHO

She is though, the woman is on drugs, most likely cocaine. Remember that video that came out last month where the reporter asked her about the conflict of interest? She was blasted out of her mind in that one.

I wish I could find it, but her mouth was moving a mile a minute and she wasn't even talking. That is THE #1 symptom of someone who is high on cocaine, involuntary mouth movements or "jaw grinding". And I've seen her doing it a 1000 times.

People in Washington aren't stupid (except of course Democrats) They know what the hell she is doing, and nobody has the guts to confront the b*tch. She probably makes 10,000 trips to the bathroom a day SNOOORT! Do people think Barney Frank is clean? Puhlease, the dude had a gay prostitution ring running in his place. Yeah, no drugs going on there. Freakin dude can barely talk his brain is so fried. Meanwhile government workers get fired everyday for having 1/10000th of a grain of THC in their system because of rules and regulations instituted by these very same drug addicts! Look at Ted Kennedy, how many examples are there of that idiot showing up drunk out of his mind? Once he was so blasted he even voted WITH Republicans! Now THAT is wasted considering him!

The visage of a teetotaler....

"Errreba erreba! I choose to go to the moon! Erreba!"

I guess you missed the report that immediately after Newt's "weak" response was published, Pelosi began hastily to walk back her comments, ending up by saying she only meant things "in the public record."

Gingrich, 1.

Pelosi, 0.
