Figgy New Tone is the SOS. Forget the WH. Let's elect more TEA to the House and Senate. The GOP has sold its soul to liberals.

I would have to get real drunk before voting for either one of them and I don’t normally drink at all.

Newt Gingrich has at least one name on his list of potential running mates: GOP rival Mitt Romney.

Well, at least Gingrich is trying not to be outshone by his VP selection like McCain was. Attaboy, Newt - get the "anti-Palin" on the ticket!

It is quite obvious to me that CNN is trying to stir up a battle between Newt and Mitt. Newt and would have none of it and knowing what CNN was up to went on and praised Mitt. Newt is one smart man as he turned the tables on CNN.

That is the best part! Perry can actually run a full on conservative outsider campaign. If he wins, awesome! He has the best chance to win. And, even if he goes down, at least it would be fighting for the conservative cause.

I see the usual subject are here already declaring this the end of Gingrich’s run.....THIS TIME FOR SURE!!! WE MEAN IT!!!!!!!!!

LOL

Oh my gosh, I mean, my gosh! Newt would not completely rule out the man Jim DeMint endorsed for President in 2008 as a potential running mate so as not to completely alienate all of his voters who might be convinced to support Newt after the primary. I mean, has there ever greater evidence that Newt’s really a super-secret Liberal Communist?

This will surely end his run, just as it clearly ended all of Jim DeMint’s support when he endorse Mitt for President in 2008 and advocated for Romneycare for the entire U.S.

Jim DeMint: We should do Romneycare ‘for the whole country’

Clearly, Gingrich is done now. By tomorrow, he won’t have a single supporter left. (Rolling eyes). LOL

I’m wondering if he said this to tweak Romney. Letting Romney know that he’s going to be the nominee.

Why not Joe Scarborough?

I Hadn’t even thought about Senator DeMint’s endorsement of Romney.

I just think Newt Gingrich gave the perfect answer to a stupid question for Blitz.

I’m sure he would have said the same about almost all of his rivals, but most assuredy not the whacked-out Ron Paul.

This is a brilliant political ploy. Newt stays above the fray while keeping the 11th commandment in tact. Newt’s too shrewd to think that Mitt would help the ticket.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to post. This is 11th commandment stuff all the way, and I REALLY wish some of the other candidates would start paying attention to it too. The LSM just eats it up when they don't - playing right into their hands.

"Really? I remember lots of Palin apologists in 2008 crowing about how Palin was going to somehow influence McCain and that we should vote for McCain-Palin as a result."

They obviously thought that McCain was about to croak from illness/age.
