NORMAN, Okla. — Members of Occupy Norman marched quietly along a sidewalk in downtown Norman on Wednesday, despite being threatened and having a tent vandalized earlier in the day.
Peyton Gates said an irate man yelled at Occupy protesters currently camping at Andrews Park.
“He threw the hammer at us,” she said. “He also said, ‘I’ll do a lot worse than that.”
While Gates and other Occupy Norman members did not see the man vandalize the tent, they said he made statements of admission to them and threatened them.
“Are you ready to die for your liberalism” was a statement that stuck in all of their minds, according to protesters
The incident was reported to the police, along with a description of the man and the tag number of his truck, Gates said.

I lived there for 7 year, in Piedmont. My daughter is an OU grad.
There are lefties at OU. But the citizens of the state do not support that nonsense.
OK was the only state that can say that not a single county voted for Obozo. Not one. Says something.

The Norman OK newspaper is a very old one, but it was first bought by a chain owner in 1985.

We chose to move to Oklahoma 4 years ago from Denver. Built a beautiful house here for our retirement at a MUCH cheaper price than we could have in Denver, about 1/3 of the price. Great people, very friendly. Love Oklahoma!!

Our family has owned and farmed in this county since 1889.
BUT, If I were to move anywhere in the U.S. except TX, it would be OK.
