Supersize that vindication!
The same Manhattan grand jury that cleared a McDonald's burger-flipper of all charges in a dramatic, caught-on-video beating has voted felony charges against the two irate women who he beat, prosecutors announced this morning.
Sweethearts Denise Darbeau and Rachel Edwards had rushed behind the counter of the West Village fast food joint during a raucus pre-dawn argument with the staff.
That unwise move earned them a severe pummeling with a grill-cleaning tool by Big Mac wrangler and manslaughter parolee Rayon McIntosh -- and now there's a side of felony charges to go with that beating.
Prosecutors did not say what the charges are, but their lawyer is guessing it's felony burglary.
"It's a travesty of justice," said Harold Baker, defense lawyer for both women.

No question those two clowns escalated the situation.
Bullies don't change their stripes. They stink wherever they go. They should throw the book at'em.

This gets better every time I hear something about it.
Poor Harold Baker thinks its a travesty that huge numbers of Americans caught the attempted theft angle while watching the footage on YouTube.
Get a better class of client, Harold, and it might behoove you to start looking at the evidence and police briefings sent to you when you take a client’s money.
The guy was extremely lucky - but being black certainly made a huge difference in the verdict in his favor.
Glad they are pursuing felony charges on the women. Hope they don’t cry and moan about being sorry and get the charges reduced or dropped.

He may be a thug, but I will give him this: I respect him 100x more than any single one of those turds at the Occupy Wall Street site. The guy was, at least, working.
I don’t know the whole circumstances around his manslaughter conviction, but story was he was carrying a gun, and supposedly shot one of his friends by accident when he was trying to remove his gun from his pants. I don’t know. He might have killed the guy deliberately and then made up a story with his buddies. But maybe not. Maybe he is like the dumb ass football player with the New York Jets, Plaxico Burris who served two years for shooting himself in the thigh while fumbling for his gun in his pants. Seems to me these guys might be better served with real conceal carry holsters, but...not their style, I guess.
Found the video on Youtube, many ole Rayon was really wailing on ‘em with that grill-cleaner, but clearly in self-defense. Good to see the right outcome, especially in NYC.
Actually Rayon did society a favor by giving these “husbands” a beating they so richly deserved. If you’re going to attack a McDonald’s worker for doing his job, jump the counter to pound the crap out of him, better pray he’s not an ex-con. The “husbands” are lucky he didn’t kill them.
