Norway’s Progress Party has called for the immediate arrest of Mullah Krekar after the firebrand jihadist spoke of the need for renewed terrorist attacks on the United States.
The Norway-based extremist made the comments in an interview with Finland’s MTV3. He also claimed that Islam “will control the entire world” within the next 20 years.
More than a decade on from the devastating terrorist attacks in the United States that left almost 3,000 people dead, Krekar said:
“They have learned nothing from the 9/11 attacks. That’s why they need two more attacks. It’s the only way the Americans will understand that we [Muslims] are people and not animals or slaves.”
Morten Ørsal Johansen, immigration policy spokesman for the populist Progress Party, said the remarks merited placing Krekar under arrest.
“We have just passed a new law stating that anybody who poses a threat to basic national interests may be subject to arrest. There’s no doubt that Krekar should now be apprehended,” he told newspaper VG.
Krekar, the co-founder of Islamist militant group Ansar al-Islam, moved to Norway as a refugee from northern Iraq in 1991.
In the Finnish TV interview, he also spoke cryptically of how European-style democracy would never take root in the Middle East. Likening the export of Western democracy to a "plastic banana", he said it would never work in the Arab world because, unlike the real thing, "you can’t eat it."
He also argued in the three-minute interview that further terrorist attacks were unavoidable, VG reports.
“It’s going to happen. It’s meant to happen. Jihad is meant to happen, I’m certain of it. Jihad is like a cat. If you lock up a cat it becomes dangerous,” said Krekar.
The radical Islamist is set to appear in court in Norway in February after allegedly issuing verbal death threats to five different people, including Conservative Party (Høyre) leader Erna Solberg.

I agree with him one hundred percent, but probably not in the way he intends.
That may be a polite understatement if they are unable to distinguish between a "refugee" and a "threat to national security". If they fail to find a workaround, they are in essence, saying "we would rather commit suicide than deport this guy".
But then, after a few moments of further thought it may be they see their choices as either deporting him to a country that will kill him, or to one that would be happy to have him as a part of their national effort (Saudi Arabia). They may have concluded the best solution, and one consistent with their national policy, was to keep him.

“All American Muslims” is an attempt to manipulate Americans into ignoring the threat of jihad and to bully them into thinking that being concerned about the jihad threat would somehow victimize these nice people in this show.
The problem people have with Islam is its teachings of violence against and the subjugation of unbelievers. It is with the supremacist ideology and the fervent believers in those noxious doctrines of warfare and subjugation. The ultimate danger posed by a program presenting the “normal” side of life for American Muslims is that it isn’t’t accurate.
The danger is in the deception and obfuscation of the truth which results in the intellectual disarming of the American people.”

Thanks for the link. Have been following Wilders for some time and it is clear he knows what he is talking about. Here, he correctly states Islam is a totalitarian ideology that has the goal of dominating a society and causing it to submit.
In the face of the host’s several attempts to have him state what portion of the muslim community constituted the problem, Wilders finally identified that portion as those who denounce democracy and refuse to abandon shariah law.
It is pretty clear his process would involve denouncing sharia law and re-swearing an oath of allegiance, or deportation.
It seems likely that will also be a necessary solution for the U.S. There is a point during any war when “peaceful” citizens who support or are otherwise engaged in the enemy’s war effort become a legitimate target.
The question for us is, how much blood will have to be spilled before our country recognizes we have reached that point?
