WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House rejected on Friday the latest proposal from Republicans in Congress on a payroll tax cut, saying its costs needed to be offset in a balanced away and not with budget cuts exempting the rich.
"We are open to looking at other ways to pay for this, but they have to be economically responsible and fair," White House spokesman Jay Carney said. "It is important that the overall package meet the standards the president has set."

The Republican response here is incredible. There basically is no opposition party to the Obama regime. “clampdown” on benefits to illegals. How about closing the border and stopping all tax-payer funding in support of illegals? Either they pay their own way or get out....or better yet, just get out! We are talking about untold billions in vote-buying theft from the taxpayer just to support illegals. To say nothing of waste and FRAUD....

I had a phone call today from the RNC asking for money. They used the line about Obama and his policies and if I opposed them. I interrupted the nice young man and told him that I didn’t like Obama’s policies and I was even more ticked off at the Republicans and their lack of B*lls.
It was amazing how fast he hung up after telling me he was sorry I felt that way. LOL
Here's a solution ~ transfer 100% of FICA to employers on a graduated scale. Employers with less than 25 employees do not need to pay for those verified by E-verify to be here legally. Without e-verify, they have to pay it for all 25.
We ratchet that up on a logrithmic scale ~ so finally you get to UAW owned GM and they have to pay triple FICA for every employee provided they are verified by e-verify to be here lawfully. They have to pay 10 X FICA for illegals.
This taxes THE RICH and the POWERFUL CORPORATIONS.
Generally speaking, that’s not a bad idea.
