Three weeks after a national controversy erupted over the pepper spraying of Occupy UC Davis protesters by campus police, the demonstrators are apparently calling for the dismantling of their tent city for winter break.

I was on campus at UC Davis all week. 30 or so tents, mostly identical Coleman and mostly empty.

We will put our principles off for good weather and “holiday gifts from mom and dad”. Maybe they will get a new occupy tent and a porta potty.

Yep, time to go home to Mummy and Daddy's warm house. Get all cozy in a nice warm bed. Fill up on Christmas goodies. Rake in the presents - produced by all those bad capitalistic businesses. Mom and Dad will take care of them for a few weeks. After all, parents support these kids so they can grow up to be productive and earn a good living. But they will go back to school only to again find fault with and protest about how greedy capitalists are ruining the world. But now they will be wearing new clothes and toting the latest in new electronic gizmo's.
I would like to know...if these kids think money is not important, and everyone should earn equal pay...why the heck are they in college? Isn't the expectation, after a college education, that a person will be able to earn a better income than those without four years of college? So why are they wasting their parents' money...or taking grants and loans? The contradictions in their rhetoric is so apparent.
