No wonder President Obama adopted some of the language of the Occupy movement in his class-warfare speech this week. It's led by the likes of Alfredo Carrasquillo, a fellow "community organizer" with whom the president perhaps identifies. Carrasquillo specializes in breaking into foreclosed homes to dole them out to others--beginning with himself--to live in.
Chris Hayes gave Carrasquillo a sympathetic platform on his weekend show this morning. Making it clear that he was speaking as a "devil's advocate," not, God forbid, expressing his own opinion, Hayes gently inquired of Carrasquillo whether, you know, it could be said he has no right to break into and live in homes owned by others. Dismissing the notion out of hand, Carrasquillo described theft of others' property as "technicalities." That seemed good enough for Hayes, who helpfully pointed out that the homes Carrasquillo is breaking into "are just sitting there, no one's making use of them."

Hey, our future president!
MSNBC’s Chris Hayes gives sympathetic response to OWS “community organizer” who specializes in breaking into foreclosed homes. Ping to Today show list.
Bring your @$$ down here to Gatesville, Texas and steal from me and the only "technicalities" you'll be worried about weigh 300gr and fly at 1050fps.
There are many people who apparently believe in the abolition of private property.
Marxists believe that ‘Property is Theft’.
Silly me, I never accepted that justification from any of my kids when they were little and "wanted" something.
...I takes what I wants. The car, the money, anything that's sitting there.
Yeah, the people who have never owned property. The wastrels and lowlifes...
Some people don't believe in education but that doesn't give them the right to burn the books of others... This is one more example of liberals being control freaks. They have decided that what THEY come up with for their own lives should be imposed on others. They're jerks.
Reminds me of the classic SNL skit in which Garret Morris appears before his parole board and breaks into a stirring rendition of a song: “I’m gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I sees, I’m gonna get me a shotgun and kill all the whities I sees ...”
The 'purer' the marxism, the poorer the country. China pulled out of some of the poverty crap by adopting limited capitalism. Same with Russia. Places like Cuba that imposed this on their people have to be run by dictators - the stuff is so vile no modern culture accepts it without a boot to the neck...
The true believers left are profs on liberal college campuses, trust fund babies who resent their rich parents and the folks who feed off these idiots. Most people with two brain cells to rub together would be embarrassed to fall for this hundred year old hokum. Ummm, the 60's are O-VAR...
They never let Facts get in their way. You must remember that Socialism is for the People, not the Socialists. This is all a scheme by the Elite to loot and pillage the wealth of the dumb masses for themselves.
In any collectivists economy, those at the top, the nomenklatura, are the ones who benefit from a ‘collectivist’ economy.
What ‘Progressives’ haven’t figured out is how to coerce or force the ‘Producers’ to keep on working. (Kulaks of Stalin, Mao’s ‘Cultural Revolution’)
What amazes me is those who believe the nomenklatura’s promises that their time will come to share in the wealth. Kinda like the ‘Prisoner’s Dilemma’,they keep the faith all the while being betrayed.
Just as long as it’s someone else’s ‘’private property’’.
Trespassing is a crime something to go on your record.
Everything with the leftists is a technicality - even the Consttution is a technicality in that it is a “negative set of rights for the government...”
wow...wheres the ‘like’ button.
