Political ties win Corzine respect in Congress

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A day after Jon Corzine got politely grilled by lawmakers over the collapse of futures brokerage MF Global Holdings Ltd, questions remain over the role his deep political ties and generous donations will play as he gears up for another round of congressional scrutiny.
Corzine, who resigned as chief of MF Global days after the firm filed for bankruptcy on October 31, has been a prominent fundraiser and personal contributor to Democrats.
He personally donated $69,300 to Democratic causes this year alone, including $15,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, according to data from the Center for Responsive Politics.

I thought he said he didn’t know where any of the missing money was.
Appears they found where $69,300 of it is located.
If Corzine does not face real justice, other banksters will be emboldened to do the same. They will intentionally create bankruptcies, raid segregated accounts, and hide the money abroad. This will eventually cause a panic, a run on the banks and stock portfolios.
That is why their icon is a Donkey.
I'm glad our betters are looking out for us. :)
It's amazing how many crooks obtain high office without ever joining a political party. Corzine was elected senator and governor of New Jersey and he apparently did it all on his own.
