The Newt Gingrich campaign has opened its national phone banks for supporters nationwide to make calls to Iowa voters prior to the upcoming caucuses. You just have to join the Newt 2012 campaign, and then are provided access to the call center, with the name and number of a potential Iowa voter. A easy-to-read script is provided. This is a great way for Freepers nationwide to participate in the Iowa campaign, even if they are out of state.
They dont provide an 800-number, I guess they cant afford it yet. What I have done - and others too - myself and a few friends have purchased the $45 prepaid phone card from Walmart - which is unlimited calls and texts for 30 days. It is delivered by email with your pin number, and then we then each take a couple days each week to use the card, as our schedules allow.
My share was $9.00 for 30 days, and will rollover into the New Hampshire primary, when the campaign will have a NH national phone bank set up. Please get involved. Please Help Newt! I was very proud of him last night. Thank you very much.
Please help Newt's Iowa campaign go National!!
Ah, crap. Isn’t it enough that I am resigned to voting for the slimy snake?
I know. I know. He’s a jerk, but he’s our jerk. Thank you for being one of an open mind. Thank you alot.
Thank you for.....understanding, I guess.
Writing letters to the editor of The Des Moines Register would also help along with donations. Newt is working on super pacs too. Read the head of Liberty Counsel may endorse Gingrich...contact him if you have time and state your case for Newt. http://www.aberdeennews.com/news/nationworld/la-na-gingrich-money-20111211,0,4916479.story
Regarding your tagline, I actually do LOVE Newt. This board is not an easy place to be when you love Newt... :)
my cell phone has unlimited calls anywhere in the US from Texas, I will start making calls for Newt tomorrow.
“my cell phone has unlimited calls anywhere in the US from Texas, I will start making calls for Newt tomorrow.”
true believer forever... thank you for posting this thread.
Go Newt Go.....
I found the name of the head of Liberty Counsel, Mathew Staver - but no address - at the link. I guess the des moines register has a pretty good internet presence. will try to do both of those things... thanks.
thank you very much. You know, there is still a lot of time for him to cement and increase his lead in IA - look what he’s done with no organization... There was a senator in one of the WI recall elections who was tremendously outspent and he said the national phone banks really played a big part - because it freed up the boots on the ground to get out of the office...
is it better to call or write? I think i write better and am shy on the phone, but time is short.
Maybe write the Iowa addy:) I will call...not shy on the phone lol
Grunthor... I don’t care how you got here, I’m just glad that you have arrived.
okey dokey. I will send you a copy...
(deep sigh) yeah, I guess.
deeply conflicted votes count just as much as totally enthusiastic ones... and I’m glad you found Newt, too.
That’s one way to not get a donation from me.
Especially if they call around dinner time.
NOPTHIG pisses me off like some shyster asking me for money at dinnertime or calling and asking for me by my first name. like they know me.
They won’t be calling for money... but I know what you mean...
Is there a primary race in Alabama I didn’t know about? Got a call this afternoon from Newt - his very own self. I didn’t listen (I hung up) to what he was asking. Caught me leaving for church. Now if it had been Sarah Palin, then I would’ve listened.
The Alabama Primary is March 13 and Newt’s campaign just made this guy, Sen Jabo Waggoner, his campaign director in Alabama.
Our slimy snake versus their slimy snake. Should be interesting.
If there are Perrywinkles and Cainiacs, I suppose there must be Newtons too.
Newt may be the only one mean enough to rassle Obama to the floor and not care about the grime that gets on himself.
Another great moment indeed.
