I received the link to this video clip in a recent email and I don’t know what to make of it. Years ago I remember my Dad (God rest his soul) contributing to the John Birch Society whenever possible. They seem to be pro-conservative and pro-Constitutional.
Pardon me if I am among the last to learn all the information contained in this video. I find it quite disconcerting. I’m one of the ones who just loved (and prayed nightly) for Sarah Palin and thought for sure she was going to run. When that didn’t happen, I then looked to Bachmann, Perry, Cain, and Paul. I’ve been trying to like the idea of supporting Newt now, but after viewing this the whole way through, I just don’t think I can. I want to vote for a candidate who is Pro-Constitutional and Pro-Conservative, like Sarah Palin. Anyway, I would be interested to know what ya’ll think after viewing this.

The very Conservative candidates were either driven out (Cain) or driven to single digits (Bachmann & Santorum) so we are left with some ‘rock under the tire’ choices to just stop the Obama momentum. Newt serves as a rock under the tire. The chance of getting a Conservative champion right now are slim to none.
(Oh, and JBS is more Libertarian than Conservative).
Most folks here at this point are really anybody but Obama, Romney or Paul.
The Birchers were the 1960 version of the Tea Party with way more organization. Daddy Koch was a founder. They are reviled by the left.
Quite the contrary. The Tea Party is not paranoid or crazy, but totally mainstream.

I don’t think any of us can say with predict with certainty how any of the candidates will act in office.
I had wanted Bachmann to run more than anybody, I question my thinking now.
Ego can be terrible and horrible but ego can also be a huge plus.
Gingrich is nothing if not huge ego and he is more than any of them a history fiend and education junkie.
Heck, as a very young man he married his older teacher. She certainly wasn’t ‘hot’.
He married education more than a person. Education is THAT important and impressive to him.
Gingrich is totally taken with education and history.
Truthfully, I hated Gingrich when I was young. My mother even reminds me that on occasion I called him the anti-Christ. *blush*
Today is different than yesterday and Gingrich is nothing if not ever-changing and updating to match times.
That is bad but it also means change does happen and not all is bad.
Gingrich knows as most all of us do—our country is in trouble. That is the question—do you believe that statement as true?
Gingrich loves history AND this country so much, he will never screw it up, he will want the books to reflect him as saving us and restoring us to our past.
Gingrich will wish to compete with our founders. He will want history to remember him as great. He will be our most intelligent president in who knows how long!
Gingrich will also surpass many leaders with intelligence on the global stage..this will cause some of them to defer.
I believe this with all my being, that is why I will trust him to be our president—no matter my past opinions of Gingrich.
Of the candidates that I have watched—as much as Perry falls on his face with facts and debate—I find him to be of the best character.
That shocks me, as I thought of him as a globalist and now he appears to be the furthest from it and of the best disposition, in my opinion.
I don’t think Perry would survive Obama in the debates but I do believe enough to trust Gingrich as our president. Gingrich can win.

Even some of theirs wildest claims have come true..
Years ago I laughed sometimes.. I no longer laugh at them..
It was ME that didn’t see(recognize) or imagine the evil of it all..
MAny americans(many) have wanted to take over the american federal goverment... i.e. over throw.
All the elaborate plans seem to be coming true.. its been planned a long time..
Perhaps it’s the John Birch Society you should be researching.
Especially before posting something like this - One of the biggest problems with this country is that people will swallow about anything they read or hear.

Newt was once touted as the “best debater” in the Republican candidate field. He was also supposed to be the smartest candidate. But would a really smart debater brazenly lie about something that is a matter of public record? How stupid does he think we are?

Last night there was a Republican debate among the candidates in Iowa. Michele Bachmann told three easily proven truths about Newt Gingrich, all a matter of public record (as evidenced below, see links to articles by PBS, Mother Jones and Fox News):
These 3 truths were as follows:
1–Newt Gingrich supported cap and trade.
2–Newt Gingrich supported an individual health care mandate
3–Newt Gingrich worked as a lobbyist and tried to influence congress on behalf of his clients.
Incredibly, despite the ready provability of these documented facts, Newt – who has, incredibly, been labeled the most effective debater by some conservative analysts — countered simply by telling a big lie:
“Well, Michele, you know, a lot of what you say just isn’t true, period. … You know, I think it’s important for you, and the – this is a fair game, and everybody gets to – to- to pick fights. It’s important that you be accurate when you say these things. Those are not true.”
Pitiful, just pathetic, when you consider how easily proven all three of Bachmann’s accusations are, as shown below (these are only a tiny sampling of the mainstream sites mentioning these damning facts). The first two are direct Gingrich quotes from before he thought about running as a “conservative.”

PhRMA confirmed in a statement that they had paid Gingrich. Bloomberg News cited sources from leading drug companies Astra-Zeneca and Pfizer saying that those companies had also hired Gingrich.”
Obviously, there can be no question that Michele Bachmann nailed Newt on all three counts. So the main question for Americans is this:
Does honesty matter?
And another important question is:
Why didn’t any of the other candidates mention these 3 devastating facts?
The JBS society has been right many more times than Newt on the issues, that is a fact
