This is so much crap, it’s not even funny. Look at the frankage attached to a dollar coin that will last 20+ years in circulation as compared to a dollar bill that has a velocity of 18 months if you’re lucky. They need to drop the bill, and the penny. Probably the nickel as well, since all are a money-losing proposition. Given the inflation seen over the past hundred years they could revalue the dollar to the penny and noone would notice the difference.
