Well that demonstrated my point effectively, anyway.

We didn’t want a popular, enthusiasm generating Republican to ruin the Democrats’ veto preventing Senate majority while Obama was signing crappy laws, after all.

Maybe she is nuts like they said?

Yes, she is. A lot of people figured that out quickly but voted for her over Castle anyway because they were sick of being stuck with a liberal.

Besides what CNN mentioned, Rove has been shilling for Romney in a roundabout way on Fox News. He’s a part of that group that is pushing the idea that Willard is the one who can beat Obama.

I think I caught a blurb on her announcement that the Myth supported her when she ran for office; so, just returning a favor? And lets not forget that the Newt (a small aquatic amphibian), supported scuzzyfavor in that election.

She jumped the shark as soon as she was nominated. She was an absolutely awful candidate with a record of lawsuit abuse.

Not one to (every, pretty much) play any sort of “card”.

However. It’s hard watching the way O’Donnell is treated, not to wonder if there is actually sexism behind some of it.

Just saying. Very nasty. And sure as heck not a winning strategy.

Well, be assured she isn’t our favorite anymore. There goes her political career.

Oh BS. Rove cost her - at most - 3 points. Nutjob O’Donnell got CRUSHED by 17 points. You think Rove carries 17 points of weight in Delaware? If so - you’re as crazy as O’Donnell.

This endorsement just confirms she’s nothing more than a pretty face pandering to conservatives - and making a good little career of it. Now she’s sucking up to a likely Presidential candidate and hoping to get a few morsels from a Romney Administration.

She’s never been in it for conservatism, and she’s proven she’s totally incompetent as a candidate - and would most likely be as a leader, if she was ever (mistakenly) elected.

So much for any conservative values that she ever claimed to have.

Hopefully, she will campaign for Romney, making all kinds of crazy statements at every stop!

>> I’m curious as to the hypothesized mechanism of how Rove “cost us the Senate” <<

Last year he went on FNC and said Christine O. couldn’t win the Senate race in Delaware. Ever since then, he has been “Tokyo Rove” on FR.

I know it’s a nutty theory, but then, what else is new?

What does an endorsement from a some unemployed woman matter at all in a Presidential race? If this is all the quality of backing Mittens can muster, let him have it.

I liked O’Donnell. And I despise Rove for the way he treated her (and Palin).

I realize she lost her race, but she didn’t lose any worse than other Repubs in the same state. Its Delaware.

Still, I’m disappointed that she has hung her hat on Romney. The Romniacs have been among the worst in going after Palin, for example. He is no conservative, and he seems to have attracted the support of the professional pols. Maybe she is trying to work her way back into the GOP’s good graces. If so, she has calculated badly.
