So, there are others who question Newt's viability. Apparently, Glenn isn't the only one. Even Rush brought attention to Newt's praise of Andy Stern.

That election in 1960 is one that I remember quite well. Out of 60 million votes Kennedy won by 100,000. The election was stolen in West Virginia and Chicago. If you are so convinced that he can’t win, then why worry about it. He is still useful in the run-up to keep the rest of the field on their toes. What’s wrong with having some competition?

It is totally ridiculous to see Republicans/Conservatives fighting to tear each other apart in a brawl largely sponsored by the left. Every Republican that has risen in the polls has come under attack. One right after the other they rise in the polls — and then are brought down. This time it’s people on our side who are eating their own. Good lord this is making me sick. Why can’t these idiots see they are playing right into the hands of the opposition? Kill off the best candidates to run against Obummer so we run another Mclame.
Rasmussen just came out with a poll showing Newt down by 10 (49% to 39%) to Obama. Even Ron Paul is down only 8 pts to Obama. He says only Mitt leads Obama but I can not find that poll on the website. I know polls do not really matter this early out but geez! 10 pts! Newt is going to have trouble getting the womens vote.
Per some threads, Gingrich is already losing some ground in Iowa due to the attack ads from his competitors.
Many who jumped on the Gingrich bandwagon had no idea of his history. Many jumped on Gingrich’s bandwagon because he was sort of the last Great White-haired Hope for them.
Many are trying to sell the new, improved, Version 2.0 Gingrich. Many others are not buying it.
Palin can’t win; Cain can’t win; Newt can’t win; Trump can’t win; I guess we should just let Obama stay for another 4 years or until he’s done destroying our country, then I’ll bet even Micheal Savage could win.

Only Republican to lead, and win, an effort to cut an entitlement — welfare.
Only Republican to lead, and win, an effort to balance the budget.
Only Republican to lead, and win in the House, term limits.
Only Republican to lead, and win, the Congressional Responsibility Act, which subjected members to the same laws all citizens must adhere.
Boehner tried to topple Gingrich becuase the liberals smeared him with the ethics investigation along with the media.....similar to what they did to Cain.
Sorry, but you can pull out all the Gingrich quotes....I will stick to what the man did while Speaker of the House.....which pissed off most Republicans who wanted more pork (as witnessed by what happened after Gingrich left).
Maybe you don't remember the hell Reagan received, in spades, when he ran. I do remember and it was staggering. It all worked out pretty well for Reagan though. Gingrich is the best communicator of the bunch. If he can remain disciplined and take his message to the people, like Reagan, without relying on the msm, he will do fine.
Polls this far out are absolutely meaningless. Most polls had Carter winning big until the end. I also recall Bob Shrum calling John Kerry "Mr. President" based on exit polling. The campaign is just beginning. Anyone claiming Newt can't win has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

Zeigler of course is the scumbag who slandered S Palin, why would anyone take anything he says seriously.
Other than to think is Ziegler dislike Gingrich it speaks well of Gingrich.
Those are all rock solid conservative accomplishments that the MSM, mittwits and paultards can't lie about or twist out of context.
