Israelis set fire to mosque in West Bank
Press TV ^ | December 15th 2011 | Staff

Extremist Israeli settlers torched the mosque in the village of Burqa on Thursday.

The extremists also scrawled graffiti on the walls of the mosque. The graffiti indicated that the attack was carried out “in response to the dismantling of two buildings” in an illegal Israeli settlement outpost several hours earlier in the day.

Israeli settlers also set fire to a mosque in the western part of al-Quds (Jerusalem) on Wednesday.

In recent months, the settlers have increased attacks on Palestinian mosques. On many occasions, the attacks have led to clashes with Palestinians.

The latest attack in Burqa was apparently carried out in line with the so-called “price tag” policy.

Israeli extremists say the “price tag” attacks are carried out against any Israeli policy "to reduce the presence of Jewish settlers and settlements on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East al-Quds."

"Atlanta has challenged the ruling on the field that a mosque was torched by Israeli settlers. Atlanta believes Press TV is full of crap."

In the Star Trek universe were no Muzzies except Khan and his followers. And look what happened to them.

You're right, I forgot about that! Khan and his group were in hibernation from the 1990s into the future when Kirk revived them and tried to make peace. With Muzzies there can be no peace.

“Israelis set fire to mosque in West Bank”

How many secondary explosions resulted while the mosque was burning?

Khan may or may not be Muslim, but there certainly was one main character. Dr. Bashir in DS9, who was played by Alexander Siddig/ Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig Abderrahman Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Karim El Mahdi . Alex's paternal uncle is Sudanese Prime minister Sadiq al-Mahdi. They are both descended from Muhammad Ahmad, the "Mahdi" who revolted against the British in Sudan and defeated General "Chinese" Gordon at Khartoum. Fortunately the British under General Kitchener (nasty bugger) slaughtered the Jihadis at the Battle of Omdurman.

Surely you’re aware of the old joke about Star Trek, which is probably at the heart of this discussion about no muslims in Star Trek. Goes something like this...

One night in a bar, a guy is asking his buddy “how come there are no muslims in Star Trek?”. His buddy responds “because it takes place in the future long after they’re wiped out”.

I think the story about Khan was about a genetics war in the 1990s where the world was almost destroyed before Khan and his followers were put into cryo-sleep on a spaceship. Anyway, if there’s a huge world war in our time, maybe all the muslims get wiped out and mankind will then have peace on Earth in the future (well, at least in fictional Star Trek stories).

I know the joke, but I also know it is wrong.
BTW, there are no earth religions in the show.
