The Justice Department, following an often hostile three-year investigation, said Thursday the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) in Phoenix under the leadership of Sheriff Joseph M. Arpaio violated federal law and the Constitution in its handling of persons arrested and inmates held in its jail system.
Assistant Attorney General Thomas E. Perez, who heads the department’s Civil Rights Division, said investigators concluded there was reasonable cause to believe that sheriff’s deputies engaged in a pattern or practice of unconstitutional conduct and violations of federal law that jeopardized the agency’s commitment to fair and effective law enforcement.
The not-unexpected decision said investigators found discriminatory policing practices including unlawful stops, detentions and arrests of Latinos; unlawful retaliation against persons exercising their First Amendment right to criticize the agency’s policies or practices, including its discriminatory treatment of Latinos; and discriminatory jail practices against Latino inmates with limited English proficiency by punishing them and denying them critical services.

If Perez had turned around, bent over and made his statement in that position, he wouldn’t have sounded any more ridiculous, desperate and stupid. Got a Spanish-surnamed government goon working for a guy being investigated by Sheriff Joe, trying to discredit our sheriff.
By the way, if Perez had made his statement in the bent-over position, he might have strengethned the homosexual vote.

They should accuse the sheriff’s office of having automatic weapons then blockade and burn his headquarters down along with anyone trapped inside.
There is no doubt that this is getting a lot of press coverage NOW, because Arpaio is close to making public what his posse has learned about Obama's secret past... Dummett: "I can say, because it has already been released to the press and I can verify it, that he will produce a report in February, and it will be devastating. I can’t say what it is, but I know what it is.” and this... Alluding Obama could conceivably be an illegal alien, which he said was “not that far off,” Arpaio chided the mainstream media for ignoring the issue... |
That will not work if conservatives regain the necessary backbone for challenging judicial abuse of power.
In my opinion, Arpaio shouldn’t wait until February - he should go public with it now!

But there are probably legal procedural steps he must take before he goes public, like exhaust every law enforcement option to refute or confirm what he has discovered. I would bet for example, that a court in Maricopa county is also serving Hawaii with a subpoena for the 1961 Microfiche Roll, because if Obama's April 2011 forged B.C. is NOT identical to, (or not even ON) that microfiche roll that confirms this monumental historic fraud. Things like this take time, often 30 days or more. Hawaii Issued Subpoena For Obama's Original Birth Certificate and 1961 Microfiche Roll(Court Issued) Also, because Arpaio has implied that Obama may not even (still) be a U.S. citizen, that would also take time to confirm through official channels. |
