Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia is leading former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the Republican presidential race by 20 points—41 percent to 21 percent--among self-professed conservatives, according to a new Gallup poll released Thursday.
By contrast, Romney is leading Gingrich by 10 points—27 percent to 17 percent—among self-professed liberals and moderates in the poll.
The poll, conducted Dec. 5-11, surveyed 1,665 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents who are registered voters. Among all poll respondents, Gingrich led Romney 33 percent to 23 percent, with Rep. Ron Paul of Texas at 9 percent, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota at 6 percent, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry at 6 percent.
Gingrich led among most sub-groups in the poll—except for self-professed liberals and moderates, those 18 to 34 years of age, and those living in the East.

He’s the only one that has the track record to hit the ground running - AND he has already named some people he wants on his team - NONE of them from the Establishment Republican Insider Cabal. Why do you think they are so panicked? Newt would be the FIRST NON-Cabal president since Reagan. They can hear the bubbles going out of their champagne. They are as afraid of Newt as the libs and the media are and will ALL, including people like you?, come against him like the Hounds of Baskerville.

He’s for-or against the issues depending on what day it is.
Well, even though I’ve taken you up on your invitation to answer the questions, I have no expectation that you will acknowledge, let alone accept the WHOLE truths, “Half-Truthers” being who they are.
But here’s the BOTTOM LINE: We are in dire straights as to our freedoms and our Free country. It will be a real race to save it. There is not one day to spare. Newt will pick a crew that will have the credentials needed in their respective positions and they will hit the ground running on DAY ONE.
WE can’t afford politics as usual, someone that will need time to get up to speed.
It’s too late to get up to speed after you’ve gone over the cliff.

I’d love to see Newt shred Kelly tonite. Watch her try to cross examine him in a calculating manner. Then there’s the weasel Chris Wallace who will play his gotcha game. Hope Newt is in “attack” mode.

I don’t know. I was wondering about that myself, but I doubt that they even care.
They have made it clear, by their recent actions, that they don’t give a hoot about a very large percentage of their viewers, probably because they know we don’t have much of an alternative.
I’ll get my wife to post it on her Facebook page, just to get the word out on “Fair and Balanced”.
That’s it.. Fox News getting a two week TIMEOUT after the debate. I will watch CNN because MSNBC makes me break out in hives. (Except during elections where it’s fun to watch Rachel Mannow ponder why the facts never fit her worldview.)
