It was a good line and well stated.

Sadly, I've gotten used to wincing whenever Perry speaks. I don't want to go through 8 years of shuddering every time someone who wants to represent me approaches a microphone. Yes, I am judging him harshly for this job, right now we need someone who can argue and articulate the cause of conservatism, not cause people to turn the channel any time they open their mouths.

And look, I'm being nice here. I've seen far harsher judgement from the left. I don't see him drawing indies (me) and he's only got a small following of republicans and conservatives.

Still, I'm all for him continuing the race. I wish, as many Freepers have stated, if he was serious, he should get a speaking coach. I don't want a GW style bumbler, I couldn't stand it for another 4-8 years and most people couldn't!
