KUHNER: Obama’s Watergate [Officials cover up culpability for gun smuggling and murder]
The Washington Times ^ | December 15, 2011 | Jeffrey T. Kuhner

Posted on 12/16/2011 7:32:25 AM PST by yoe

A year ago this week, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered. He died protecting his country from brutal Mexican gangsters. Two AK-47 assault rifles were found at his death site. We now know the horrifying truth: Agent Terry was killed by weapons that were part of an illegal Obama administration operation to smuggle arms to the dangerous drug cartels. He was a victim of his own government. This is not only a major scandal; it is a high crime that potentially reaches all the way to the White House, implicating senior officials. It is President Obama’s Watergate.

Operation Fast and Furious was run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and overseen by the Justice Department. It started under the leadership of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr...

[snip] Mr. Holder insists he was unaware of what took place until after media reports of the scandal appeared in early 2011. (lier, lier pants on fire...)

Mr. Holder and his aides have given misleading, false and contradictory testimony on Capitol Hill. Perjury, obstruction of justice and abuse of power - these are high crimes and misdemeanors. Mr. Holder should be impeached.

IF the media wanted to rid of us of Zero, they could easily bring IMPEACHMENT about. It would happen - but no they hide the crimes of our messiah.

Everything I've read on that point has claimed the Bush administration tracked the guns and seized them before they crossed the border.

This is clearly a different program with different aims.

Why is no one demanding a special prosecutor?

Uhh, because that law is expired.

For one thing, "Fast & Furious" is the moniker Holder gave it. It was called something else under Bush.

For another thing, the program was much smaller under Bush. In addition, each gun was carefully tracked...to the point where Mexican officials were in on the program.

When ONE gun went unaccounted for it was shut down. FAR, FAR different from Holder's program.

So since they were caught, they’ll use this as a new crisis, and most racist idiots are not, nor do they want to be ‘aware’ of what the WH vermin are doing.

It’s all about winning another election to keep us in line.

WE ARE AMERICA!
0 and company will most likely finance a third party
to take away votes from Republicans.
A third party= keeping 0Mao. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

Get together America—or we’re done.

Gun running. Murder. International laws broken. Corruption of the federal law enforcement agency running the guns. Circumvention of U. S. arms laws. Top level cover-up involving the head of the F.B.I., the Justice Department, possibly the POTUS?

On what basis does this remind folks of a simple break-in?

Watergate?

I’m sure Woodward and Bernstein will be right on it, “for the good of the nation.” Too bad Katheryn Graham isn’t here to look the other way, to further out her for the media gutter slut skank she was.

Monica merited a Special Prosecutor but THIS does not?

3,000 guns smuggled, 200 Mexicans (but probably more like 3,000) dead, 2 US officers murdered, secret airfields, smuggled grenades, secret US/Sinaloa deals, a casino burned, disappearing guns, helicopter shot-down:

NO SPECIAL PROSECUTOR....?

OK, fine, what greater crime would be required to merit one? What is the opposition party FOR?

The notion we don’t yet have one is —> CARTOONISH. <—

You'd think that with all of the Republican Presidential candidates and Republicans in Congress, you'd think we'd be hearing a lot more about this...

Governor Perry is the only candidate to take it on so far.

Holder has his IG investigating it all is well < deep sarcasm> We all know what happened with WalpinGate. So Holder ordering a IG to investigate it is like Holder investigating himself.AND the AGENT TERRY death part of the case;is sealed by an unnamed judge. So all is well don’t worry < more deep sarcasm >

Holder is the one who has to appoint a special prosecutor. In the last hearing either Issa or Sensenbrenner (can’t remember which) said something like “since you won’t appoint a special prosecutor...” I don’t recall the rest of the sentence but I remember hearing that.

Rick Santorum made a very strong statement on F&F last night.

Fast and Furious debuts in debate, Santorum joins calls for Holder’s resignation

“I agree with Gov. Perry [in that Holder needs to leave office],” Santorum said in response to a question about Operation Fast and Furious from Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. “If he was the attorney general under me, I’d fire him, not have him resign. Fire him.”

Santorum has brought it up as well.

Where I want it to take off though is in Congress. Didn't we elect a bunch of people who claimed to support Tea Party ideals? Where are these people, why are they passing legislation about light bulbs when they should be spending their time on this.

You say our Attorney General OK'd an illegal transfer of guns to Mexican Drug Gangs and that those guns were used to kill a Border Patrolman, who was armed with beanbag rounds?

Oh, OK. What's Lindsay Lohan up to? What time does "Survivor" come on, "Dance with the Stars?" Who's my congressman, again?

And do call me when this cool story reaches the evening news.

That settles it. Santorum is a racist. You cannot fire a black man. That’s the law.

One way or another, Obama will go out in disgrace.

Caligula comes to mind.

Does that mean we'll wind up with his drunken illegal alien uncle running things?

I get frustrated by it. Lots of hearings , but no legal action. Time for special prosecutors, grand juries, subpoenas, indictments. Get on with it!

Everything I've read on that point has claimed the Bush administration tracked the guns and seized them before they crossed the border.

They passed the information along to the Mexican cops, who were supposed to seize the guns AFTER they crossed the border, but somehow *cough*onthetake*cough* the Mexican cops could never quite reach the gun runners in time.

So the program was shut down.
