I hope she doesn’t vote for 0bama, but I am happy for her. Very attractive young woman.

This one lady was sold into slavery, but she has more freedoms now than the people left behind in Egypt, who have to live and work under a repressive regime.

This is disgusting.

My only relief is that the “family” wasn’t “American”, per se.

I do want to know how she ended up a “Hall”.

Her captors, Abdel Nasser Eid Youssef Ibrahim and his former wife, Amal Ahmed Ewis-abd Motelib, berated her and occasionally slapped her around

This is the "admirable culture" that The Left wants us to emulate.

Why weren't these slavemasters arrested and deported back to the Muslim hell-hole of their choice?

This young woman has a bright future ahead of her, and she came to it the hard way. Bless her.

All things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

From the article:

...Hall’s Egyptian parents sold her into slavery when she was 8 for $30 a month, according to authorities...

...Her captors told her to never speak to police, that officers would beat her. She stayed tight-lipped until she was allowed to call her parents in Egypt, and her father ordered her to go back with her captors...

Father was probably afraid to lose that 30 bucks a month income.

You mean there is an already established way for foreign nationals to legally become US citizens?

In 2002, acting on a tip from a concerned neighbor, child welfare authorities rescued her from the house. Her case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, leading to the prosecution, federal imprisonment and, later, deportation of Ibrahim and Motelib.

Her captors just treated her like any non-Muslim.

Nothing in the story about the people who broke so many laws by smuggling her her, imprisoning her and abusing her for years...

Shame on the media - AS USUAL!

"The Cairo couple who bought her moved to Irvine two years later"

We need higher standards for who we let in. In case you did not know, the UN determines who can come to the US as a refugee, and they strongly favor Muslims. (Prior post: Muslim Refugees, Yes – Christian Refugees, No Atlas Shrugs

According to the U.S. State Department, there are more than 12 million people entrapped in some form of slavery worldwide.

Hall said her dream now is to become a federal agent for ICE to help crack down on human trafficking and free the enslaved.

"That's my top goal," Hall said. "I've been through it. I know I can help."

Wow! Good story. From hopeless nightmare to victorious liberty.
