An Anchorage grand jury indicted two people in connection with a home invasion robbery that ended in the death of two people.
The robbery occurred shortly after midnight on November 10 at the 700 block of Muldoon Road. APD's investigation revealed the criminals burst into a trailer, pistol-whipped a resident in the face, and demanded money and drugs. The victim grabbed a gun and shot two of the three robbers, who died. The third got away, as did the getaway driver. They're identified as Brian Albert Pfister and Ursula Pico, respectively.
On Thursday, December 15, the grand jury returned an indictment for manslaughter, roberry, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary against the two, and evidence tampering for Pico for trying to hide the getaway car.
The two will be arraigned at the Anchorage Jail Court on Monday, December 19.
Nothing must suck more than going to jail because someone else killed your two friends because of a crime you committed.

The latest is the guy had a small growing operation in his trailer that one of the punks found out about. He enlisted some friends to rob the guy of his dope and money. Unfortunately for them, they picked the wrong “victim.”
Isn’t weed essentially decriminalized in Alaska? Why bother with robbing someone?
As I understand it, it’s legal to have a small amount (like under an ounce or x number of plants, I don’t know the number) for personal use in your home. Procession of any amount outside of your home, selling or buying it, growing it for sale, etc. is as illegal here as it is anywhere else. If the amount is small enough the penalty may just be a ticket but it is still illegal.
We live 600 miles out in the sticks from Anch. The pot heads around here been growing the crap for years but it has no value here and I hear is cheap, so many of the welfare bums grow the stuff. Yet it is not in our school like most places. You don't see people out in public smoking the junk or they get run out pretty quick. Our biggest problem is the boot leggers being a dry community. Local Indians can't control themselves with the booze. What is goofy is we have several kooky churches, with only a few members each and they all are pot heads. Some of the old Indian grandmas are potheads too. They never drink, but smoke that crap, ha ha.
