The madman who burned an elderly Prospect Heights woman to death had been doing odd jobs for her - but was fired after she caught him stealing, her nephew said today.

“He was doing more stealing than cleaning,” said a distraught Rickey Causey, 52, about the man in custody for allegedly setting 64-year-old victim Delores Gillespie on fire Saturday.

Causey said the unidentified suspect - who turned himself into cops at Brooklyn’s 32nd transit district early today reeking of gasoline - had left a note on Gillespie’s door with a list of chores he was demanding payment for.

I musta been asleep the last few days because this is the first I heard about it. This story is unbelievable. She stabbed the 54 year old teacher 16 times with a screwdriver she just happened to have handy. It was in a school hallway filled with kids and the whole thing is on videotape. And not only was the perp not charged with attempted murder, but she’s out on bond already. Dollars to donuts the white teacher is gonna be vilified as a hate mongering racist.

“Obama’s attitude and words have unleashed a lot of anger.”

They have, and now his policies have driven them further into poverty, ignorance, dependence, and irrelevance. 2000 was the year Hispanics passed blacks in numbers; the 2008 election was white America’s sendoff to black America. During Bush’s two races all the buzz was about the Hispanic vote; blacks had already been marginalized politically.
