Owner Returns To Looted Store (must see video)
My Fox Philly ^

Posted on 12/18/2011 3:36:58 PM PST by Red in Blue PA

PHILADELPHIA - A North Philadelphia shop owner said he had no words to describe his emotions upon returning from India, where he had attended his mother’s funeral, to discover his store had been looted and vandalized.

Bhupinder Cheema had operated a small convenience store near Germantown Avenue and West Cumberland Street, and had invested thousands of dollars into the business. Over the course of trip to Indian, which lasted several weeks, word spread through the neighborhood that the store had been left unattended.

These people, for lack of a better word, need to be put down. And none in the community apparently is speaking out.....letting the cancer fester.

So sad. He loses his father a few months ago, his mother just passes, his wife has a brain tumor, his son has autism and now his store is completely trashed. Words fail me.

TROP area?

You’d think these India Indians would organize into militias. Police do what they can, but they are not omnipresent security guards.

Police had responded to the store once a window had been found to have been broken, however they were unsuccessful in preventing the store from being ransacked.

They didn't give a rat's ass.

He should have had friends look after the store while he was gone.

Darn shame anybody would do this to anybody else.

And ghetto blacks wonder why their unemployment numbers are running 20 percent or worse.

Turn off the power.

Set comfortable chair in middle of the room.

On table next to chair, flashlight and extra ammo.

Don’t turn on the power until out of ammo.

It’s a shame that these entrepreneurs from other countries don’t have the geographical awareness or understanding of the urban $hitholes where they are risking their investment capital and their lives. I am a Philadelphia native (moved out a while ago). North Philly is an absolute war-zone and has been for many years. I am surprised his store wasn’t looted while he was still in it. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to open a convenience store in North Philly. Hopefully he didn’t sign a long-term lease and can set up shop somewhere safer.

Yup. Soon we'll be hearing sob stories about how North Philly is a "food desert," about how none of the big supermarket chains will open there because of racisim, about how residents of the area have to drive miles in order to buy the necessities of life.

“They didn’t give a rat’s ass.”

This isn’t far from Trenton, NJ, where we were supposed to fear rising crime due to police layoffs; since the police were ineffective anyway, there’s no difference.

Unfortunately, the police has to put calls on a priority basis. If you’re not being raped and murdered, they have to put you on a, “as cars are available”, priority list.

“Voluntary segregation is now happening because of the subhumans inhabiting major urban areas.”

It has always been that way in the North; after lecturing Southerners about segregation, Northern whites made sure when blacks migrated up to follow jobs that there were nice projects built to accomodate them - away from whites.

Very funny; Newark, NJ is one such “food desert”. A few years ago a chain supermarket opened there; it was the first one in decades. The residents would loot & pillage in the surrounding suburbs, filling the courts with shoplifters. In the meantime, they have an obesity epidemic and every fast food you can imagine at their fingertips.

When Indians and many Asians go back to visit family back home, they like to spend about a month or so. That is just too long to spend away from his store in that neighborhood. Indian businesses could team together and cover for each other.

Probably because it’s the only place they can afford to open a business. In some cases, they might also get a tax break for starting a business in a blighted area.

When I lived in Chestnut Hill, a contact with the police to ask them to keep an eye on your house because you would be away, was a guarantee that it would be empty upon return.

Germantown is just a few blocks away.

Parts of it are; it has some of the wealthiest, and some of the poorest, municipalities in the country. While it is generally a dump, it is nice to have a seashore and mountains within 90 minutes of each other, four seasons, and (here’s spin for you) food from 150 different countries within 10 minutes of your house.

That makes sense; in a city I’d be leery about giving a heads-up to the cops. Where I am if you didn’t have family to look after a place you’d tell a cop you knew personally.

Eric Holder's people have a right to steal anything that is not nailed down, but it is racist when businesses abandon their neighborhoods because they steal anything that is not nailed down.

Just ask Moochelle.

I know that neighborhood. That’s not a place to have a store, let alone have a store and leave it unguarded. That neighborhood is not a place to drive through or get close to. It’s a filthy, smelly zoo toilet. It’s exactly what you picture when you read this story, and worse. This looting and vandalism was as predictable as Easter falling on a Sunday.

(shrug) Mr. Indian fellow, reopen your store somewhere civilized. I strongly recommend it NOT be located in any concentrated Democrat parasite nest (”city”). Good luck.
