Oh man. I thought it was going to be a great idea. It might cost more money which everything does, but I had no idea it was dangerous. Well if this is not compatible than at least do some work in Alaska to get some oil in use in America. Do something!!! If the Keystone thing is not what it is supposed to be than fine, but do something!!!!!

"Higher gas prices, more air pollution, the threat of poisoned water, and enough carbon pollution to make stopping climate disruption next to impossible — but few of the jobs and none of the huge profits that Big Oil would reap."

Some other important reasons that are just as stupid and absurd as those mentioned in the article:

And it will give people warts.
Your children won't be safe playing in their yards.
Some slow crawling animal might be inconvenienced.
Birds will have to fly over it.
Beings from the planet Zeta Reticuli might attack it because they can see it from space.
It might cause cancer in somebody somewhere.
It will carry that evil, smelly, Black oil.
It's got cooties.
The pipeline will be made of metal that Mother Gaia can't afford to spare.
It offends Earth and all the liberals living on it.

I’ve always been concerned with preserving the environment, and I can remember a long, long time ago when I thought that things like the Sierra Club were good.

But they all went berserk with the cultural revolution.

Shut down the pipelines. Close the coal plants. Don’t cut any trees or burn any brush. And, above all, exterminate as many babies as you can, because humans are a burden on the earth.

No, thanks. The Sierra Club and the rest of them can shove it.

I own stock in TransCanada and I’ve made a killing. If this was a reckless company, I’d sell the stock as recklessness would lead to big accidents and huge lawsuits. We the shareholder don’t want them to be careless or wreck the environment, who would gain from that?

This guy isn’t comparing the pipeline to the alternatives, which are what exactly? Windmills? He’s tilting at them.

I’d love to get my hands on the electric service box on whatever building this clown is in.

Westcoast liberals wanting to intervene on core economic infrastructure.

Meanwhile, I’m sure he wants bullet trains and windmills. Niether are economically viable; both require my tax money to procede.

At least one oil company backing the pipeline, Valero, has made it clear that its main goal is to reach growing foreign diesel fuel markets.

Horrors of horrors, increasing American exports!

Yeah, they’re impartial.

I was laughing pretty hard by the end of the second sentence. I managed to get through a little over a paragraph.

Funny stuff, but I had to stop. It was kind of like when something is “too sweet”. Maybe I’ll read more for some laughs later.

Spend some time going to the links in the main article for DATA to support the assertions...and those articles have links to other publications and articles which have links to other studies and articles.

No matter HOW DEEP YOU GO THERE IS NO DATA TO SUPPORT THESE WILD ASSERTIONS!

Sierra Club was once a semi-moderate and almost reasoned organization.

They have now been completely taken over by the commies.

To: Not now, Not ever!

Apparently increasing the supply of a commodity relative to its demand now increases prices. Congress must have repealed the law of supply and demand as a part of the payroll tax extension.

They don’t allow us to burn stuff in California, except on designated burn days.

Then, why the Hell are we in this situation, Brune? Because of the high-strung, intolerant ecomaniacs that refuse any discussion of local drilling.

Twice he stated a pipeline would RAISE gas prices the very DAY after the lights went out in Candlestick Park during an NFL game —wow.

This pipeline greenhouse gas scam and its accompanying regulations is are dangerous, unnecessary, and would cost the American people far more than we can afford.

Fixed it.
