OK, Since it is the Christmas season and miracles happen, here is my hope for the Congress in February after this 2 month fiasco is over. They will put a message around the fact that if "payroll tax cuts/holidays" are good for the economy, how much better would across the board tax cuts work. They have two months to get their act together (again, this is the season of miracles) and take the fight forward through November. Quite frankly you could see this coming, they should have been smart enough to wait until tomorrow afternoon the 23rd and let it water down over the weekend and Christmas, but of course they couldn't even get that bit right!
Don’t get to excited. In this Leg is a $5000 Tax on the purchase of a home. So give the sheeple $40 bucks and we’ll take $5000.
Who is supposed to cut taxes?
Boner and the GOP?
Seriously, come on now.
The only ammunition the House Republicans (as the Senate Reps are a bunch of wussies) have left is to insist the Bush tax cuts be made permanent.
But the thing is, if thehouse reps don’t buckle those tax cuts, which they will, the senate will, and the senate will undermine the house, and the house will let the senate undemrine it.
I don’t even know hwy I bother paying attention to this kabuki theater anymore, we are being played for fools.
I am really getting the feeling that 2012 is going to be one Hell of a year, and not in a good way. not by any means at all.
