(CBS/AP) WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. - A New Jersey 20-year-old and his teen friend are charged with aggravated assault after a video of them allegedly beating, taunting and stealing from a homeless man surfaced on YouTube.

The video - embedded below - purportedly shows Taylor Giresi, 20, punching and kicking a homeless man on what appear to be two separate occasions, as he and the 17-year-old cameraman laugh. The attackers later steal the man's bicycle.

"About to go beat up this bum," says a man on the video before the assault, according to the Associated Press.

"Just dive on him! Dive on him!" the cameraman says on the video as the assailant approaches a disheveled-looking man in a wooded area near the Jersey shore.

Evil.

I don’t get what gets into these young men’s minds that’s ok to beat up the helpless.

I love it when criminals are stupid enough to provide their own evidence for court

If they are under age, a good civil attorney might make their parents rue the day they failed to teach them how to be human.

This is a normal thing that happens up where I used to live. I think these monsters should face some hard time with nasty cellmates in Trenton State Prison or Rahway Prison. I guess Rahway has a new name but that would be a perfect place for these creeps. Very sad that this is considered “fun”.

Scumbags. How low do you have to be to do something like that?

Feeding them and offering them some support would be nice.

Sick little turds. The judge needs to listen to grandma and give them both a good stretch in the state prison. It would be easier than the street justice a lot of us would like to give them.

I vote for prison, and I've got an even better work assignment: work in the infirmary of the prison. Spending days cleaning up blood, feces, vomit, and other assorted bodily secretions of other inmates would at least ensure that this conscienceless vermin did not enjoy themselves. (Inmates can be very creative in finding things to do with bodily fluids and secretions).

Being in prison would also likely give a whole new perspective to the fun aspect of having one's belongings stolen and being beaten up.

When I was down in Tampa I passed three homeless people who were sleeping on the ground. This was at night. I felt bad for them. Thankfully it wasn’t cold.
