Backing off claims that the bullet train would create more than 1 million jobs, California's high-speed rail leaders acknowledged on Thursday that their "shorthanded" definition used to describe jobs has been "imprecise and potentially confusing."

In a statement responding to an investigation by this newspaper, Willie Green clarified that the 1 billion job figure does not refer to the number of workers...
Yeah, that really clarified it..........
It’s actually the number of riders per century.
Clarify as in clarified butter? Cooking the fuzz off?

Does that mean the next generation will be under the new high speed train? As in thrown? Like the proverbial bus?
LOL
Clarified? No, LIED.
And, one suspects that it's one of the worst kinds of lies, the ones that are made up as the result of several committee meetings (to come up with the most believable lie), then run by legal, (to make sure that the creators of this lie are sufficiently insulated).

.
Yup. It won’t actually create large numbers of new jobs. Even if it lasts decades, when the work is done, the on-going economic benefit will be a negligible one.
“High Speed Rail”, now we know what the final nail in Kalifornia’s coffin looks like!
The cost of this boondoggle will finish them off.
Would not be such an issue, but the rest of us will be tapped to bail them out.
Kalifornia, the next “Too big to fail”.
California’s high-speed rail + Earthquake =Death
Ca has never been short of scams.
